Our Venue
Tenerife with its idyllic sunny climate is an exotic
destination with the comfort and advantages of a
European venue, combining the best in accommodation
and activity options in a rejuvenating atmosphere.
An island of contrasts, Tenerife is of volcanic origin
and this has produced a unique landscape of snow
capped mountains in the centre with a startling
moonscape around the Mount Teide summit. This
dramatic scenery also offers some of the finest nature
trails with waterfalls, ravines and stunning rivers.
Set in extensive grounds with access to the
sea front promenade, in the exclusive
Costa Adeje area, the Sheraton La Caleta
Resort & Spa offers luxurious accommodation in a contemporary and elegant
style. Its ideal position within walking distance of the main attractions in one
direction, or the tranquillity of a local fishing village in the other, makes this
5 star property the perfect conference venue.
In contrast, the ocean is clean and clear, producing
high quality fish and seafood. Pilot whales and
dolphins live in these waters all year round making
whale watching a popular and fascinating activity.
The island offers a number of
championship golf courses and
most other sports, particularly
water sports and sailing, are
well catered for.
All guest rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished and
feature air conditioning, marble bathroom with bath and
separate shower, Sheraton “Sweet Sleeper” beds, tea
and coffee making facilities, lap top size safe and mini
bar. WiFi internet access is available throughout the
resort. In addition all rooms have a balcony or terrace with cane furniture
and the majority of delegate rooms will enjoy ocean or partial ocean views.
Attractions and services of the resort include four excellent restaurants and
three outdoor pools - two heated and one with salt water, outdoor whirlpool
island, 9 hole mini golf course and games room. The Caroli Health Club
with 1,800 sq m of spa facilities includes a Thelasso vitality pool, twelve
multi-functional treatment rooms, heat treatments, plus inside and outside
relaxation areas with plunge pools, fitness centre and hairdresser.
The transfer time from Tenerife Sur airport is 20/25 minutes and the
surrounding areas of Playa de Las Americas and Puerto Colon, with exclusive
shopping opportunities and lively nightlife, are just a short taxi ride away.
Accommodation and Travel
All conference packages include both the business and social programmes,
plus hotel accommodation in a shared double/twin* room on a bed and
breakfast basis. This does not include flights or airport transfers. Flights to
Tenerife Sur are available with departures from many UK airports and the
conference period has been arranged to enable delegates take advantage of
low cost and charter flights.
Packages A & C include 4 nights accommodation from 14th May
Packages B & D include 7 nights accommodation from 14th May
with additional plenary/networking option
Additional nights accommodation either pre or post the conference dates
can be arranged along with upgrades to executive rooms or suites. Please
