SARA is a non-profit whose purpose is to assist the County and City of Sacramento, and other appropriate government agencies to protect the American River Parkway, and to preserve in perpetuity the natural beauty, the resources, and all of the amenities of this unique riparian corridor. SARA coordinates the efforts of organizations and individuals in support of the Parkway, and strives to assure an adequate flow of high quality water in the American River.
