f a l l w i n t e r 2 0 0 9 / 1 0 En 1913 los hermanos Irving y Jack Schott comenzaron a fabricar prendas de cuero a mano en una pequeña tienda en el Lower East Side de Manhattan en New York. Desde su comienzo se plantearon obtener el mejor producto posible manteniendo una alta calidad de manufacturación con un diseño innovador y siempre hecho a mano. En 1928 Schott-nyc crea la inigualable “Perfecto®”, auténtica cazadora “biker” utilizada por Marlon Brando, James Dean y Steve McQueen en sus míticas películas, siendo el año 2008 el 80 aniversario de esta prenda. Schott-nyc es el creador de las famosas flyers de nylon, cazadoras de cuero para pilotos y marineros de paño para la marina. Hoy en día muchas de las prendas que se pueden ver en la colección son “versiones de calle” de modelos que se produjeron en los años 40 en Estados Unidos.
