Il notevole impegno delle Società concessionarie nel campo della sicurezza stradale, in
termini sia di risorse investite che di gestione quotidiana, continua a garantire, ormai da
molti anni, ottimi risultati, come dimostrato dal sensibile e costante miglioramento di tutti
i principali indicatori, avvicinando così sempre più il settore al pieno raggiungimento degli
obiettivi comunitari volti al dimezzamento delle vittime della strada entro il 2010.
Le Società concessionarie italiane considerano questi risultati, frutto di continui interventi
specifici sulla propria rete e dell’implementazione di soluzioni tecnologiche e procedurali innovative, come uno stimolo ulteriore per incrementare gli sforzi nella tutela della vita umana.
The significant effort made by concessionaire companies in the field of road safety in terms of both investments
as well as daily operating activity, continues to guarantee excellent results over the years. This is demonstrated by
the marked and constant improvement in all the main indicators of road safety and the sector is now in sight of
the EU target objective of halving the number of road victims by 2010.
Italian concessionaire companies look at these results - which are the product of consistent specific work along
the network and the implementation of innovative technological and procedural solutions - as a further incentive
to increase their effort to save even more lives.

EasyWay è il più importante programma di dimensione europea per la definizione e
la promozione delle più innovative tecnologie applicate ai trasporti stradali.
I Sistemi Intelligenti di Trasporto (ITS) rappresentano uno strumento fondamentale e un
supporto essenziale per migliorare il livello di servizio e di sicurezza del sistema infrastrutturale, oltre a garantire condizioni di mobilità sostenibile.
Il settore, anche attraverso la partecipazione alle più importanti iniziative europee in
materia di ITS come il Programma EasyWay, che vede la partecipazione diretta dell’Associazione, e con uno scambio di buone pratiche con tutti i principali attori a livello europeo, continua ad impegnare ingenti risorse - umane, tecniche e finanziarie - nell’ambito
di studi, ricerche e implementazioni, promuovendo soluzioni tecnologiche all’avanguardia per un continuo potenziamento degli standard qualitativi e di sicurezza della rete di
competenza.
EasyWay is the most important pan-European programme for defining and promoting the newest technologies applied to road transportation.
Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) are a key tool and an essential support to improve the service and safety levels
of the infrastructure system, as well as to ensure conditions of sustainable mobility.
With its involvement in the most important European ITS projects, such as the EasyWay programme - which sees
the direct participation of AISCAT - and the exchange of good practices among main European players, the sector
continues to commit significant resources – human, technical and financial – to studies, research and implementations, promoting technologically advanced solutions for the continuous strengthening of the qualitative and safety
standards of road networks.
