Description
This delightful route sets off from the Old Water Works, Cilcain and soon sets into the stiffest part of the walk,
climbing the zig-zag to Moel Famau. Your efforts are rewarded with great views across to Snowdonia and in
the opposite direction, the Cheshire plains.

We then walk south, downwards, along the Offa's Dyke path to the popular "tourists" car park ( you could
start from here). Cross the road and walk south-east, climbing gently between Foel Fenlli and Moel Eithinen. Continue to and cross the main Mold-Ruthin road and walk on a quite lane for a mile or so before turning
north into woods. Rejoin the road as far as Pant-ou and join the Clwydian Way heading north to Maeshafn
(Miners Arms). Continue to Loggerheads, (good cafe & pub).
Take the Leate path heading north-west returning to Cilcain.
