Recycling at City of Tampa Events
• City of Tampa Department of Solid Waste and
Environmental Program Management provides
recycling to over 70 event from October – June each
year
– Average 40 events with collection only
– Average 30 events with education
• Event recycling is provided to both large and small
scale events
• Some of the major events include:
– Gasparilla Parades
– Distance Classic
– Ecofest
