willdirectyouontotheCyclepathonthelefthandsideoftheN72.Stewardswillbepresenttoassistyou.
ContinueontheN72totheroundaboutatKillorglin.Takethethird(3rd)exitonN72directionKillarney.Please
exercisecautionattheroundabout.Therewillbeaturnstewardoratransponderreaderattheroundabout.
Youmustcompletethecircuitoftheroundabout(aslightlyraisedandwhitepaintedbumpontheroad).
ContinuedirectlytoKillarneyontheN72untiltheroundaboutatBallydowney.Thisisalargeandbusy
junction.Pleaseexercisecautionhere.Takethefourth(4th)exitontheN72directionKillorglin/RingofKerry.
Youwillthenbetravellingbacktheroadyouapproachedtheroundabouton.Therewillbeaturnstewardora
transponderreaderattheroundabout.Youmustcompletethecircuitoftheroundabout.
TheentrancetotheCastlerosseHotelisapproximately1mile(1.6km)fromtheroundabout.Theentrancewill
bemonitoredbyasteward.Theentrancegateisnarrow.Pleaseexercisecautionasvehiclesemergingfrom
thehotelusethisgatealso.
Thefinishlineis25minsidethegateandthedismountlineis25mfurtheron.Atthedismountlineyoumust
getoffyourmachineandwalk/runtoTransition2whichisapproximately250mfurtheron.
The last 4km:
AsyougothroughFossaandontowardsKillarney,youwillpasstheKillarneyGolfandFishingClubandthe
CastlerosseHotel(theeventualfinish)onyourright.Continuingonstraight,afterapproximately2kmyouwill
reacharoundabout(Ballydowneyroundabout).Turnaroundattheroundabout(3rdexit)andheadback
towardsKillorglin.
T2islocatedwithinthegroundsoftheCastlerosseHotel.Thereisasharplefthandturnintothedrivewayof
thehotel,andthedismountlineisapprox20mafterthisturn.Ridersmustcarrytheirbiketotherackin
Transition2andareremindednottoun-straptheirhelmetuntiltheirbikeisracked.
