What is new with uniFLOW Version 5.4?
Flexible Document Scanning
New support for the Canon imageFORMULA ScanFront Network Scanner enhances the power of
uniFLOW workflow scanning to these already impressive network document scanners.
Additional scan destinations now include Microsoft SharePoint® Online, SharePoint® 2013,
OneDrive® for Business, and Therefore™ Online so users can scan directly to the correct back end system which improves overall office productivity.
Easy wizard to setup integration into Therefore™ that also offers support for Therefore Case
Management.
Improved setup wizards for scanning that are easier to use and more configurable.
The updated scan processing engine provides a faster and more powerful scan processing,
better support for Asian languages. It also supports new output formats, allowing a conversion
to .xlsx for spreadsheets, and allows greater control over layout options for .docx documents.
Where security is not paramount or if rapid scanning with minimal user interaction is useful,
scan workflows can be accessed without user identification.
Powerful Mobile Printing
The uniFLOW Embedded Applet for Canon gives administrators greater flexibility in deciding
what functions are shown to guest users so they cannot/don’t need to access other print functions.

devices.
The uniFLOW Release Station, a device-independent touch screen for releasing print jobs, now offers
a ‘Printed jobs’ queue, easy cost center selection without logout, and emergency access possibilities.
The interface on Canon MEAP-enabled devices can be fine-tuned to only show the finishing
options specific to that device.

common rule-based configuration features.

New identity card management features to provide simple self-service for users to manage
permanent and temporary identity cards.
