Fragrance bubbles in segment
Bath combines the therapeutic benefits of
epsom salt with essential oils to relax achy
muscles, soothe the senses and provide relief from stress.
Meanwhile, Calgon, which is known
for its “Take Me Away” slogan, experienced strong double-digit gains during the
period. As previously reported by Drug
Store News, Calgon, which is managed by
Ilex Consumer Products Group, recently
launched its Ageless Bath collection. The
anti-aging bath line includes bath pearls,
2-in-1 bath and body scrub, and milk bath
with serum beads.

The bath fragrance/bubble
bath segment is experiencing
modest growth, fueled by
new product launches and
consumers’ continued desire to bring the
spa experience home.
Experiencing triple-digit growth during
the 12-week period ended Aug. 7, according to market research firm SymphonyIRI
Group, is Dr. Teal’s. In June, the brand announced the introduction of its first foaming liquid epsom salt. Dr. Teal’s Foaming
Body washes lather up convenience
The liquid body wash segment is on the rise, and it
comes as little surprise given
the convenience of body wash
and the formulas that promise
to moisturize and soften skin.
Likely lured by the convenience factor and the masculine scents, men also are
jumping aboard the liquid
body wash bandwagon as evidenced by the numbers and the
fact that Unilever’s Axe brand
takes the lead within the segment, according to data from
SymphonyIRI Group.
