CHAMBER DIRECTORS will meet MONDAY, AUGUST 8, 2016
at Noon. Directors, please be present. Important decisions will
be made.

CHAMBER LUNCHEON TUESDAY, AUGUST 9, 2016 AT NOON.
Reservations for the $7 catered lunch are encouraged, but not
required. Your presence is required for a successful luncheon.
A Citizen of the Month will be honored. Speaker will be John
Paul Tallent on a new Clean Up Gladewater campaign.

The 6th Annual Main Street Art Stroll will be held Saturday,
August 13 from noon to 5 pm. Area artists will be showing
their art in all medias in the Antique District Shops. Los Pinos
Ranch and FairHaven Vineyards will be on hand for wine
tasting. Live entertainment will be Andrew and Kate Kirby,
Stefan Cotter, Michael Morse and Larry Siebert. Don’t forget to
purchase your 2017 Calendars featuring the Gladewater
Round Up Rodeo. They make wonderful gifts.

Save the date for September 6, 2016 which will be our next
Business Development Breakfast. More details will be forthcoming.

EVENTS AND ACTIVITES

Congratulations to this years’ winners of the Austin Bank
sponsored 4th of July Boat Parade. First Place went to
the Joyce Hugman Family, Second Place the Solis Family,
and Third Place the Mahoney Family.

Recycle will be Saturday, August 13 from 8 am to noon
at City Hall. Volunteering their assistance will be the
Weldon Alumni.

The Gladewater Antique District Billboard Fundraiser will
be held Saturday, September 10 from 6:30 pm to 10 pm
at Walker Manor. Tickets are $20 and entertainment will
be East Mountain Bluegrass with Jessica Hendricks.

We are gearing up for the 43rd Arts & Craft Festival on
the Broadway Campus, September 17 & 18. Application
is online at www.gladewaterartsandcrafts.com. There
will be art, woodcrafts, handcrafts, needlework, jewelry,
homemade goodies and more. If you would like to sponsor a banner, or would like to renew your sponsorship,
please let us know. The Lee Library will host their Book
Sale.
