The four week quest to determine the “Four Aces” of the squash club culminated on the championship night of Friday, February 27 th. The fun filled evening featured exciting and hard fought matches as well as some great food and prizes for the winning teams. As well, most people that were in attendance walked away with something from the prize table. In the end, the “Four Aces” for 2009 were Don Brazier, James Karr, Mike Rueck and Mike Turbach. Congratulations also go out to the consolation winners, David Dickson, Jay Millen, Radu Lascar and Stephanie Hunchuck. The live auction saw two grand prizes of Raptor Tickets and a Golf Lesson go to Jay Millen and Bruce Hunter respectively. Additionally, throughout the night, over 20 donated prizes, including bottles of Scotch, Sham-‐Wows and assorted ZEN Music went to the lucky card holders from the draw. It has been reported that Danny Paolucci has not been seen since he won his “PIANO BAR” CD. The evening could not have been such a success with out the tremendous efforts of the many volunteers, including Stephanie Hunchuck, Joan Brann, Mike Rueck, Bruce Hunter, Cecilio Iribarren and Tom Vardon .Of course as a final note, many thanks to Owen Crisp for his leadership as chairman to make the tournament a great event that we will all look forward to next year. 2
