LETTER FROM STAFF
On behalf of the Orientation team, faculty and staff, we would like to
officially welcome you to Florida Institute of Technology!
Reading this Orientation Guide means you are already on the right path
to having a great orientation week! This guide was created to help you
throughout Orientation and during your transition into Florida Tech.
You also have 55 Panther Prep Leaders (PPLs) and 16 Diplomats from all
over the world who will be your guides through the first week of college.
These fellow students will help you transition to Florida Tech by sharing
their personal experiences and the skills they have gained as students.
Remember, they were once in your shoes!
It is the mission of the Orientation team to equip you with the tools and
resources you need in order to make a smooth transition into the college
life. We hope by the end of orientation week you will be more aware of
what Florida Tech has to offer, feel at home on our campus and know
how to succeed in your first year. To get the best out of Florida Tech
and Orientation, be sure to stay informed with any updates or changes
happening as you explore this Orientation Guide thoroughly, and attend
as many events that you can!
Again, welcome to Florida Institute of Technology. We hope you are just
as excited as we are for Orientation!
Best of Luck,
Krishna Patel
