The 8th annual Jayo Invitational Celebrity Pro-Am Fantasy Volleyball event
was founded by the Director of AVP Cares and is the country's most
prestigious Celebrity-Pro-Am volleyball event. It is a best-of-brand event
that combines the worlds of volleyball, health and fitness with the world of
entertainment, allowing the public to play alongside the top names in the
sport and stars from TV, film, fashion and music.

WHAT IS THE JAYO?
The Jayo Invitational is the country's most prestigious Celebrity-Pro-Am volleyball event. It is a bestof-brand event that combines the world of volleyball, health and fitness with the world of
entertainment, showcasing the top names in the sport alongside stars from TV, film and music.
Proceeds from the Jayo Invitational are allocated to charitable organizations that work to aid children
in the advancement of health, sports and education. This year proceeds will benefit Adopt A Shark,
AVP Cares and the Jayo Foundation.
Each year the Invitational has welcomed more and more sponsors looking to take part in this
exciting event. As participation increases the Jayo Invitational will continue to be not only a first class
ambassador of Beach Volleyball Culture and the Southern California Lifestyle but a driving force in
the philanthropic community.

The Jayo Invitational is the only volleyball tournament in the world that gives the public a chance to
purchase a world class athlete to play right along side them. Each six person team gets one AVP
player or Olympian Team Captain and one celebrity. Teams can then purchase more pros with a
donation to the Jayo beneficiaries. So bring your A-GAME. Its fantasy sports… but for real!!
CORPORATE CHALLENGE
The main event of the Jayo Invitational is the Red & Blue Celebrity-Pro-Am Corporate
Challenge. Here pro-beach players, Olympic team members and celebrities compete in a pool play
tournament format and volleyball fans are given the chance to play right along side of them. Each
team is composed of up to 10 adults and at least one professional or Olympic player and one
celebrity guest. Teams battle it out in six-on-six play narrowing the field down to two teams who
compete in the finals for the Hands Of Gold trophy.
CORPORATE CHALLENGE FORMAT - The Corporate Challenge will be played in
accordance with Official FIVB rules. Read more about the Format.

2008 Whole Foods Eco Village was a big hit. In 2010 beach
volleyball goes sustainable again as we invite businesses dedicated
