Take the bus to visit
Route 13X journeys stop at all stops to Seaford Library
then only at the points shown plus Sea Life Centre and
North Street (stop X).
The views from the Tourist Trail 13X bus top deck are exceptional especially through the Cuckmere Valley and around Birling Gap and Beachy Head.
 There are over 30 million visits to the South Downs
every year.
 Nationally, only 1% of total distance travelled on
roads is by bus*.
 A survey identified that over 85% of visits to the Sussex Downs
were made by car.
 The South Downs National Park Authority has developed 18
self-guided downland trails with routes that start and finish at bus stops.
The walks explore the Downs around Brighton and Hove, including Mile Oak,
Hangleton, Patcham, Hollingbury, Lewes, Rottingdean and Seaford.
Free leaflets including maps are available from bus information points, tourist
information centres and libraries or from:
South Downs National Park Authority, Hatton House, Bepton Road,
