The group is especially proud of the many qualified employees and
managers, the majority of which has been employed internally.

Founded in 1945, the company was started in the original company building in Haag
am Hausruck in Austria. Traditional handicraft in the form of chip boxes and painted
country style furniture were the first products, which the young company put on the
market. In 1990 the XXXL furniture retail group entered the German market. In 2000
the expansion to the Czech Republic commenced. Since 2008 the XXXL Group is also
present in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Croatia with their discount
furniture line Möbelix. Since 2010 the XXXL Group continues its expansion to the
Southeast of Europe and Sweden.

An average of six furniture stores was opened each year by the
XXXL Group over the last decades. Today the XXXL Group operates
ca. 230 furniture stores in Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic,
Sweden, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Bulgaria.
The logistics department plays a central role too, supplying all
branches from large central warehouses.

kitchen, dining room, bedroom and children’s bedrooms to bathroom and wellness products. The XXXL furniture retail group and its affiliated
companies offer extensive specialist ranges relating to living in addition to all types and styles of furniture. Thus the range includes home
textiles, curtains, baby products, lamps, flooring, oriental carpets, gifts, household goods and accessories.
