The Mövenpick Meet & Dine Airport Conference
Center is the ideal place for successful meetings,
conventions and conferences in a pleasant ambience. Check in to your meeting right after landing
and thus spare yourself the time-consuming trip to
the city centre.
Our 250 m² function area with a view on the
runways provides the perfect environment for
company celebrations, presentations, anniversaries,
receptions, birthday and wedding parties.
Our 13 modern conference rooms, some equipped
with video projectors and flat screens, offer different sizes and variable seating arrangements and
can accommodate up to 170 persons. Please ask
about our conference packages, or let us make you
an individual offer. Our professional planning and
premium service will provide for a successful event.

We will be glad to provide professional, individual
support for your event. For catering services, our
Mövenpick Restaurant will be at your disposal.
The buffets, prepared in line with your wishes, can
be enjoyed on the Top Deck.

The Marché® Freshness Concept - the original in
front cooking - is successful worldwide and offers
‚food as on the market place‘.
Today more than ever, our high standards of freshness and quality, cooking right in front of the guest
and the informal ‚market‘ setting come up to the
high demands of the quality-conscious guest for
healthy nutrition and transparency. The Marché®
criteria are uncompromising freshness, homemade recipes and gentle ‚à la minute‘ preparation of
seasonal products from the region.
The Marché® Natural Bakery exclusively follows
rules and customs of the traditional bakery trade.
The doughs are 100% natural, totally free of
baking mixtures or any other aids. The long rising
time is another point of quality. This helps a more
intensive flavour to develop, which makes the fine
difference.
Cindy‘s Diner is your typical diner restaurant with
quick service and tasty American food. The concept
takes up the timelessly trendy style of the American
50ies and offers its guests a carefree diner atmosphere.
On the culinary side, Mövenpick Restaurants offer
a successful symbiosis of the familiar and the
surprising, at any time of the day and for guests of
any age - no matter if it is delicious one course meals
and creative dishes for the quick business lunch, or
the cultured dinner in the evening.
In addition to pasta and grilled specialties, you can
choose from crisp salads and vegetables, as well
as from delicious muffins, Swiss flans or seasonally
changing pies to lift you up. Freshly hand-squeezed

The bakery‘s offer includes varied, rich bread types
following our own recipes; delicious confectionery,
and savoury focaccia variations. All products are
freshly baked right in front of our guests and can

Terms and conditions for events
Scope
1. The following terms and conditions for events shall apply to the rental provision of banquet and restaurant rooms
by Marché Restaurants Deutschland GmbH, c/o Marché Airport Hamburg, Flughafenstraße 1-3, 22335 Hamburg
(hereinafter referred to as the ‚Contractor‘), and to the service offer (catering) for conducting events, as well as for
any associated deliveries and services provided to the customer (herinafter the ‚Customer‘).
2. Any subletting or re-letting of the rented rooms, areas or showcases, as well as invitations for job interviews, sales
or similar events, require the prior written consent of the Supplier.
Conclusion of contract, contracting parties, liability
1. Any reservation of rooms and spaces, and agreements on other deliveries and services shall be binding for both
parties after written confirmation. All offers are subject to change.
2. In the event that the Customer/ordering party is not the organizer, or if a commercial intermediary or organizer
is appointed, these organizers shall, together with the customer, be jointly and severally liable for any obligations
arising from the contract.
3. The organizer shall obtain all necessary permits, authorizations etc. at the organizer‘s own expense. The organizer
is also solely responsible for any obligations regarding GEMA, fire guard etc. On request, the organizer shall provide proof of fulfilment of the above obligations.
4. The organizer must comply with any regulations by the police, fire brigades and regulatory authorities applying to
the function rooms. The Contractor or his representatives may give instructions for compliance.
Services, prices, payment
1. The agreed rates shall include the applicable statutory value added tax. Any increase of the value-added tax after
conclusion of contract shall be borne by the organizer. In the event that the period between the conclusion of
contract and the event exceeds 4 months and the rate charged normally for this type of service by the Supplier has
increased, the rate agreed in the contract may be adequately increased, by a maximum of 10%.
2. The Contractor has the right to demand a reasonable advance payment.
3. Any invoice issued by the Contractor without a due date shall be payable without deduction within 10 days of
receipt of the invoice. Any set-off or retention rights shall be excluded unless the claim is undisputed or legally
valid.
Withdrawal by Contractor
1. In the event that the Customer fails to render an advance payment even after a reasonable grace period has expired
that was granted by the Contractor while declaring Contractor will deny services if payment is not effected, the
Contractor shall also have the right to withdraw from the contract.
2. The organiser shall have no right to any claims of compensation against the Contractor except in the event of intent
or gross negligence.
3. The Supplier shall notify the organizer immediately of his exercising his right of withdrawal.

or gross negligence.
Withdrawal by organizer
1. If the organizer withdraws no later than 22 business days before the event, the Contractor shall have the right to
charge the agreed rental rate if re-letting is not possible anymore.
2. If the organizer withdraws 10 business days or less before the event, the full rental rate will be charged.

In the event of a withdrawal 14 to 7 business days before the event, the Contractor shall have the right to charge a
surcharge of 33% of the lost food sales in addition to the agreed rental rate, and 66% of the food sales for any later
withdrawal. If no detailed provision has been agreed between the parties concerning drinks sales, a payable sum
of 20% of the food sales shall be paid by the organizer for lost drinks sales.
Food sales are calculated using the following formula: Minimum banquet menu price x number of persons
Any saved expenses under 2. and 3 shall thus have be compensated. The organizer reserves the right to prove that
less damage occurred, the Contractor reserves the right to prove that higher damage occurred.
Change in number of delegates and times of the event
1. The Contractor should be notified of the final number of delegates and the choice of food and drinks no later than
7 business days before the event, to ensure thorough preparation.
2. Any changes in the number of delegates by more than 10% should be notified in writing to the banquet department
no later than 5 business days before the event and are subject to approval by the Contractor.
3. 4 business days before the event the number of persons specified most recently is binding.
Bringing food and beverages/sales guarantee
Bringing food or beverages to the rented areas is generally prohibited.
Lease of technical equipment
1. Where the Contractor provides technical and other facilities to the Customer, these must be returned immediately
after the end of the event. The Customer shall be liable for the careful handling and for any damages caused to
the facilities. The Customer shall hold the Contractor free of all third party claims arising from the lease of such
facilities.
2. Any use of the Customer‘s own electrical equipment using the Contractor‘s power supply system requires the
latter‘s written consent. Any faults or damages caused to the Contractor‘s technical equipment by the use of the
Customer‘s equipment shall be borne by the Customer unless the Contractor is responsible for these faults or
damages.
3. Should any appropriate equipment provided by the Contractor remain unused because the Customer uses his own
equipment, a compensation may be charged.
4. Any malfunctions of technical or other facilities provided by the Contractor should be remedied immediately if
possible. Payments cannot be withheld or reduced if the Contractor is not responsible for such malfunctions.
5. In case of renting acoustic irradiation or other foreign technology additionally the terms and conditions of the applicable respective provider are valid. In case of cancellation of the rented foreign technology, also the cancellation
charges will apply according to the terms and conditions of the respective third-party.
Final provisions
1. Any changes or additions to the contract, request acceptance, or to these Terms and Conditions for Events must be
made in writing. Unilateral amendments by the organizer shall be invalid.
2. Place of fulfilment and place of payment is Hamburg, Germany.
3. Hamburg, Germany, shall be the exclusive place of jurisdiction - including for cheques and promissory notes - in
commercial transactions. In the event that a contracting party fulfils the preconditions under Section 38 Subsection
1 of the German Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO) and has no general place of jurisdiction in the Federal Republic of
Germany, Hamburg, Germany, shall be considered the place of jurisdiction.
4. German law shall apply.
5. If a provision of these Terms and Conditions for Events be or become invalid or void, that shall not effect the validity
of any other provision of these Terms and Conditions. Otherwise, the statutory provisions shall apply.
