performance, aesthetic and functional
glazing system which is installed on the
inside of your existing window frame (see diagrams
on page 4). This creates a large air space between the
two windows which is ideal for sound reduction and

gives you all the benefits of double glazing without
having to remove your existing window.
PERFORMANCE · How do they work? · Specially designed for
acoustic insulation, an SBW in combination with a standard
residential window will typically achieve a noise reduction of
up to 46dB.* This equates to a perceived noise reduction of 50 75% as compared to a single standard window.
APPEARANCE · How do they look? · The narrow, unobtrusive
profiles are available in powdercoated or anodised colour
finishes to match your existing windows. When viewed from
the outside you will hardly know they’re there.
FUNCTIONAL · Are they easy to clean? · The SBW opens from
both sides, so access to your existing window is not obstructed.
If additional access is required for cleaning, the sliding panels
can be easily removed.
CONSTRUCTION · Australian made · Aluminium frames and
laminated glass are used in the construction of all SBW’s,
ensuring a lightweight and durable operation for years ahead.
