MOXY articulated dump trucks have permanent 6-wheel drive for equal power distribution
while the free-swinging rear tandem bogie and the special articulation system offer excellent
driving performance in difficult terrain. The articulation hinge is positioned behind the turning ring to ensure equal weight distribution, even during maximum turning. The sloping body
design further enhances the Moxy stability as well as ensuring fast and easy tipping for
good productivity in even the most demanding conditions.
Many MOXY machines have worked more than 25,000 hours without any major
overhaul of the engine. Fully automatic transmission control unit and smooth
gear-shifting abilities enables the operator to concentrate on working conditions
whilst the highly specified cab ensures maximum comfort.

Power to the wheels
Moxy uses well-proven, reliable and powerful diesel engines with excellent torque
curves achieving low fuel consumption and fulfilling the Tier 3 of the US/EPA and
Stage 3 of the European exhaust emission regulations.
In selecting the optimum choice of powertrain Moxy utillises reliable transmissions
that feature smooth and remarkable gear-shifting abilities. These features result
in the MAXIMUM net power transmission to the wheels, resulting in HIGHLY
efficient energy use and maximum FUEL EFFICIENCY.
Superior combination of
power and traction
The MOXY plus1 Concept offers a larger load
capacity in all weight class categories. Additional
load capacity combined with superior power and
traction allows for improved productivity.
The unique advantages of MOXY’s permanent 6wheel drive, free-swinging rear tandem bogie, articulation hinge system, independent front wheel suspension system and sloping rear frame provide excellent
driving stability with equal power and weight distribution to the wheels. The MOXY ADT is designed to
work under rough conditions but can also travel at
speeds up to 50km/h.
Maximum ground contact
MOXY’s free-swinging rear tandem bogie and the special articulation system offer excellent
performance and the best possible ground contact in soft and difficult terrain. The sloping rear
frame, in combination with the track width, ensures a low centre of gravity and class leading
sideward stability thus removing the need for wide, low profile tyres.
One of the main highlights of the MOXY concept is the location of the turning ring in relation
to the swing point. The turning ring is located in front of the swing point which always ensures
equal weight distribution to the front wheels in all situations, even during maximum turning.
Equal distribution to the front wheels makes it possible to use the differentials with only
45% locking value while still having the possibility to steer with good maneuverability.
MOXY’s unique independent front wheel suspension allows for free movement on one
side without movement on the opposite side giving maximum ground contact and
shock absorption.

Permanent 6-wheel drive
The unique MOXY concept offers permanent 6wheel drive ensuring equal power distribution to
all wheels to accommodate any jobsite situation;
a significant advantage in rough terrain.
The outstanding interaction between the main
components in the MOXY driveline ensures
maximum traction performance and durability.
Strong and reliable system solutions
Due to strong and reliable system solutions and extensive product testing, MOXY
has one of the most reliable dump trucks in the market place. The automatic central
lubrication system is standard on all MOXY models.
Based on our experience with continuous product development since the early
‘70’s, the new generation of MOXY ADTs are designed with an upgraded drive train
and a fatigue-proof structure.
Excellent ride and operator comfort
The cab is equipped with air conditioning and an operator seat with air-suspension to provide
an excellent ride and operator comfort. Precise steering, good sight overview and low noise
levels provide a comfortable cab environment. The “tip-tronic” gearshift feature enables the
operator to run the truck in both automatic and manual gear to ensure the smoothest possible
gear-shifts and momentum while operating the truck. The sloping hood provides an excellent
view from the operator’s position combined with good visibility to the rear.
MOXY cares about the environment and aim to set the best possible standards in the
manufacturing of our products. Moxy utilises industry leading engines that achieve low fuel
consumption and fulfil the latest Tier 3 of the US/EPA and Stage 3 of the European exhaust
emission regulations. All US and European noise regulations are fulfilled.
MOXY provides exceptional levels of operator comfort with a low cab vibration level that complies
with legislation currently in force in Sweden and soon to be introduced worldwide. Minimum fuel consumption is achieved while driving in the mechanical mode when the lock-up clutch is engaged.
