The Birth of a Seminary
E.B.C.S. is located in beautiful Greenacres, Florida. For many
years, we felt the need for a seminary where all people, young
and old alike, could study and train for the field of service for
which God has called them. Also, that individuals may have the
opportunity to learn the fundamentals of a Christian life, having
the desire to keep an Interdenominational spirit in our midst.
At the Evangelical Bible Seminary, we are
Interdenominational,. Interdenominational means different
denominations working together for the same purpose.
After many years of prayer and hard work God, in an
unusual way, led us to open a Bible Seminary here in Greenacres,
Florida. On April 14, 1975, with five students and two teachers,
we launched out to fulfill the will of God. In 2001, the name was
changed to Evangelical Bible College & Seminary. We are proud
of our graduates, who have gone throughout the United States,
the Philippines, India, El Salvador, Jamaica, and many other
countries. Some hold leadership positions in international
Christian organizations, while others are pastors and church
leaders.
Since 1975, the Evangelical Bible College & seminary has been
a launching pad for the Kingdom, training and equipping
Christian soldiers to go out and spread the Word of God all over
the world. Our prayer and desire is to help you fulfill the calling
that God has placed on your life.
May God bless you always.

Seminary Creed
We believe the Holy Bible is fully inspired by God’s Spirit in the
original languages.
We believe in One God, existing in three persons Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, became man
without ceasing to be God, in order that He might reveal God and
redeem sinful men.
We believe that the Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and the
Son to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment;
and to regenerate, sanctify, comfort and heal those who believe in
Jesus Christ.
We believe that man is totally depraved in that of himself he is
utterly unable to remedy his lost condition.
We believe that salvation is the gift of God, brought to man by grace
and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose
atoning blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.
We believe in the water baptism of believers, symbolizing the
believer’s union in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the observance of the Lord’s Supper, commemorating
the sacrifice of our Savior for all mankind.
We believe the life of the believer is to be separated from the world
by consistent conduct before God and man, and is to be in the
world as life giving light.
We believe in the personal and visible and bodily return of the Lord
Jesus Christ.

Accreditation
E.B.C.S. is accredited by the National Association of Christian Educators.
While this accreditation is recognized by many other schools and
colleges, it is not recognized by the Federal Government as it relates to
Title IV or V. Therefore, students cannot receive federal funding.
We are also accredited through Transworld Accreditation Commission
International. E.B.C.S. is exempt from state licensure under the laws and
rules regulating private religious education; Chapter 1005.6 Florida
Statutes, and has a current letter of exemption from the Florida
Department of Education.
8
Transferring Credits
Transferring E.B.C.S. credits TO other institutions:
Transfer of credits to another institution is always at the discretion of the
receiving institution. Even among fully accredited schools that are
recognized by the federal government, transfer of credits is never
guaranteed. In most instances, transferring of credits from similar
programs is the most effective way for credits to be accepted. Most
Transworld accredited schools and NACE accredited schools will accept
transfer credits.
Transferring credits to E.B.C.S. FROM other institutions:
Fees apply for transferring credits to E.B.C.S. from other recognized
institutions. See page 16 for more information.
All courses for which the student has received credits and maintained a
passing grade at the granting institution will be transferred as long as the
course of study aligns with a similar course and degree program at
E.B.C.S. The evaluation of credits, accepted or rejected, is solely at the
discretion of the E.B.C.S. Administrator. Most Transworld accredited
schools and NACE accredited schools will be accepted as transfer credits.
Transferring credits from E.B.C.S. Extension School Programs:
All credits from an E.B.C.S. Affiliate School are transferrable through the
Bachelor level for full value. Transfer fees may apply.
9
Welcome,
I am so glad you have chosen E.B.C.S. to continue
your education. I hope you will find all of our courses
challenging and rewarding. Our professors are all
highly qualified and anointed of God. I believe they
bring a unique interdenominational view of the
subjects, which will help to give you a well rounded
education.
Many of our graduates hold positions as pastors,
Christian school teachers and administrators, as well
as missionaries, chaplains, Biblical counselors and
evangelists in many Christian organizations all
around the world. Our prayer is that your degree will
enable you to fulfill your desire to study to show
yourself approved, and to build the Kingdom of God.
May God richly bless all you set your hands to do for
His glory.
In the service of the King,
Dr. David Donnally

The Evangelical Bible College and Seminary is honored to welcome Dr. Charles Carrin as our
new Chancellor
CHARLES CARRIN'S ministry spans the final half of the twentieth century. He was
ordained in 1949 and in his youth traveled with men who preached in the 1800's. For
the first twenty-seven years of his ministry, Charles was a hyper-Calvinist Baptist
pastor and Presbyterian seminarian who denied the miraculous works of the Holy
Spirit. Mid-way in his ministry that abruptly changed. Personal crisis forced him to
acknowledge Scriptures he had previously ignored. It was a time of intense pain and
testing. The truths he saw were frightening; they had power to destroy his denominational ministry and at that point he had no hope that another, more wonderful ministry awaited him.
As a result of his submitting to God in that crisis, Charles emerged with an amazing anointing of the
Holy Spirit. Today, his ministry centers upon the visible demonstration of the Spirit and imparting of
His gifts. This new ministry has taken him to London's Westminster Chapel, the Toronto Airport
Christian Fellowship, and other significant places. He, R.T. Kendall, the former, 25 year pastor at
Westminster Chapel, and Jack Taylor, former Vice President of the Southern Baptist Convention,
travel together holding "Word, Spirit, Power, Conferences."
As an evangelist/writer, Charles' articles have appeared in major Christian magazines in the United
States and abroad. He travels extensively, teaching believers how to operate in the power of the Holy
Spirit.
Welcome to EBCS where learning to serve God is the purpose for living.
Our institution has been and expects to continue to be a major resource for
equipping men and women for the ministry. EBCS offers educational
experience characterized by excellence. Our Administration and staff are
dedicated to providing the very best environment for your matriculation.
It is our honor and pleasure to have you as a student at EBCS. We believe
that you were directed here by the Holy Spirit.
We warmly welcome you to study at the best little seminary
in the world.
Respectfully,
Dr. Bettye Knighton
Administrator

Distance Learning Program
Distance Learning courses are available at the same cost as campus courses ($50 per
credit hour). The student must reside 50 miles or more from the nearest campus. A
student living within 50 miles must attend classes at the campus.
When taking distance learning courses, students will receive text books on courses
and be put in communication with the on-campus professor of that course. The
professor of that subject will give assignments and give final grades. Students must
receive a passing grade of 75% to receive credit for that class. The student must
meet the professor’s requirements. All work must be turned in within 2 weeks of
the end of each semester. Students must re-enroll each semester and register for
new classes.
Some exceptions may be given for missionaries, traveling evangelists, or illness.
These exceptions will be made by the administrators only. Some extra expenses
may be charged for shipping cost of books.
When required classes or degree programs are not offered during any semester,
students may take these classes in a home-bound format at the same cost as regular
classes.
High School Dual Enrollment
We are pleased to have worked with High School students wishing to further their
Biblical studies by offering several college courses that are also approved for
elective credits in High School.
To make sure these credits are accepted, a written letter from the student’s High
School to the Administrator at E.B.C.S. is requested that states confirmation of
acceptance. If the student only wants college credit from E.B.C.S., the letter is not
necessary. Home schooled students are also qualified for Dual Enrollment.
All students must be able to work at the collegiate level. Students under 18 must
have written consent from a parent or guardian. All students must have a teacher
or administrator’s academic recommendation to enroll.
13
Application Procedure
1. Submit to the Registrar a completed application form and recommendations.
Form must accompany a $35 non-refundable application fee along with a copy of
a current photo ID.

3. Transcripts from High School, G.E.D., or previously attended Colleges or

without transcripts, however, an evaluation cannot be completed without them.
