My Dear Church Family,
2015 was an outstanding year!
To the best of our ability, we strive to be A Community of Grace. With
this in mind, our Growth, Connections and Service focus on
Rolling Hills Church has a significant impact in our community
and world.
Within these pages, you will rediscover some highlights from 2015. We
continued to stress our ministries with children, youth and families.
Our outreach efforts raised important financial support for our partner projects, and we built
lasting relationships within our community, nation and world.
Under the direction of our Building Committee with Jim Day serving as the chair, we embarked
on a capital campaign to renovate, renew and refresh our church campus. Many folk within our
congregation made sacrificial gifts for this important time in the life of our church.
Because of the amazing commitment and dedication of this congregation, I am convinced our
brightest days are ahead of us. I am certain that Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church will change the
world for the sake of the gospel of Christ.
This year we also celebrated as Charles Bruffy, Director of Music, received another Grammy
Award for best Choral Music with combined chorales from Kansas City and Phoenix.
Upon reflection, I am so very grateful for the privilege to serve as the pastor of this exceptional
congregation. The past seven years have been some of the most rewarding of my entire ministry.
Grace and Peace,
Church

ach year we are amazed at how freely our congregation gives us their time, talents and
treasures and 2015 was no exception! Whether you were one of the 18 men and women who
lent a hand at Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, purchased a Guatemala scholarship card, or
helped sort food for our Thanksgiving baskets, you helped Rolling Hills change lives. Thank you!

aking care of our members is one of the most important things we
can do as a church family. Our 27 deacons, 3 pastors and countless
volunteers provided care, prayers, meals and more to our members
in 2015.

ellowship was the name of the game this year with our
Youth Ministry. Whether it was Sunday evenings at
RHPC, late night trips to IHOP, haunted houses or
fun times at Sky Zone, our Youth know how to have a good
time with one another. Their service trip to Memphis was one
they’ll never forget!
e are blessed to have such a vibrant adult community at Rolling Hills. We strive
for adults to actively engage in many areas of the church, including ministries,
service, education and more. Here are some highlights:
