MIDCOAST FINE
ARTS MISSION
MidCoast Fine Arts is the
leading non-profit organization
stimulating our community’s
cultural and economic vitality
through the support of regional
visual arts and artists.
MidCoast programs increase
traffic in our metropolitan centers,
enhance our community’s
valuation of our downtowns
and foster arts and culture
as an effective tool for urban
revitalization projects.
MidCoast programs enhance the
urban streetscape with streetlevel events, public art and gallery
programming.
MidCoast promotes the Quad
Cities as an arts destination
and adds cultural equity to our
community’s gateways and tourist
destinations.
The MidCoast organization
celebrates the Quad Cities as a
community that values the arts
and offers a high quality of life for
families and the creative class.
MidCoast Fine Arts programs are
partially supported by operational
grants from the Illinois Arts Council
and the Iowa Arts Council.

emerging artists, gallery exhibition
at one of MidCoast’s many venues
throughout the community provide a
critical opportunity for creative and
professional growth.
IN-SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS

regional community school districts
in the orchestration of Artists as
