Halltech 2014 C7 Stingray StingerCKN™ Cold Air Induction
Installation Instructions-Intake comes assembled: MAF sensorUse your stock MAF sensor, our proprietary screws, & washers.
9/64” T-handle Allen wrench
10mm wrench
7mm nut driver
Small Phillips head screwdriver
_________________________________________________________________________
Start by removing the radiator duct. Four 7mm screws. We use a speed drill with a 7mm driver.
Uninstall your C7 intake system. Be careful of the radiator hose lines; they are obstructive and make
taking the stock intake out difficult, but it will come out.
Uninstall the stock MAF sensor using a Philips head (small) screwdriver. Be careful not to drop or touch
the wires in the airflow window.
Save all old intake parts.
Install the Halltech screws and washers with the rubber Viton washers on the inside of the MAF tabs.
Install the MAF sensor with the 9/64” Allen wrench. Tighten snugly, but not to where you break the
inserts. The oring must seal. Normal tightening will accomplish that. The Viton washers are standoffs,
not used for sealing anything.
THE P-80 RUBBER LUBE IS NEEDED ON THE CONNECTOR HOSE WHEN INSTALLING THE BRIDGE INTO THE
HOSE. 2 PEOPLE MAKE THIS PRETTY EASY TO DO. HAVE ALL HOSE CLAMPS OFF WHEN YOU INSTALL THE
INTAKE SO THAT YOU CAN PUSH IT TOWARD THE DRIVERS SIDE AND DOWNWARD AT THE SAME TIME
TO CLEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE AIRBOX/FENDER WELL OUTLET. PUSHING IT TOWDOWNWARD TO
CLEAR THE FENDER WILL NOT BREAK THE CARBON FIBER IF THERE IS A LITTLE RESISTANCE. (You can
force it a little without breaking it, but if you feel you cannot install it this way, it can be done in
sections. Do not use silicone sealant anywhere on the intake or you will ruin your cats.)
