ISG™ Metal Tags
ISG metal identification plates and tags provide durable
solutions for identification and traceability requirements in
harsh environments. These products are utilized to identify
raw materials, work in process and finished goods.
Traceability and Accountability
The industrial manufacturing sector relies heavily on quality solutions
for individual part marking and traceability. There is a growing need
for traceability and accountability solutions in the manufacturing

often supplied blank but can also be pre-printed too. The customer
may add marking which can be embossed, engraved, indented,
hand written, screen printed or laser engraved. ISG plates and tags
are designed to be used in both manual feed and automatic feed
machines and are guaranteed for automatic feed when requested.
Metal plate marking is done with high-quality and reliable embossing machines that can mark in the form of embossing (raised surface) or debossing (indented). Part marking has evolved from standard numbers and letters into actual raised 2D barcodes for quick
scanning options, on a variety of plate sizes to meet the needs of
any application. Metal marking machines can produce standard
alpha numeric text and symbols, dot matrix, 2D data matrix (bar
coding) and can incorporate new vision inspection technology. ISG
metal plates can not only be embossed but laser engraved.
