NEW APPLE STORE, OXMOOR MALL
Challenge: Your client requires a foundation design capable of
supporting column loads of 150 kips within 6” of tenant walls in an
operating retail environment without disturbing adjacent tenant.
Solution: Atlas resistance piers were welded onto columns and
installed to bedrock.
Benefits: Fast track construction schedule required the foundation
system to be installed and capable of carrying full loads immediately
following column erection. Hydraulic installation equipment allows for
low noise-vibration and fits into restrictive spaces.
