Events at Stokehouse Q
Situated on the absolute waterfront in the South Bank Parklands, Stokehouse Q takes full
advantage of its position and is arguably Brisbane’s most photogenic venue.
The contemporary restaurant offers a diverse, innovative menu inspired by flavours from the
Mediterranean, featuring the freshest, locally-sourced produce, and curated by some of
Australia’s most talented young chefs.
To match the location on the Brisbane River, the sculptural design of the building blends
seamlessly with the surrounding environment to create a sheltered alfresco atmosphere that is
elegant, relaxed and unique to Queensland.
Stokehouse Q offers a variety of event spaces to suit any style of function.
MEZZANINE and PALM ROOM
The Mezzanine space has a unique ambiance with sweeping views and a modern interior,
catering for up to 60 seated and 85 standing. The Palm Room offers Brisbane’s best outdoor
dining experience (without being fully exposed to the elements) available open air or fully
enclosed, catering for up to 50 seated and 85 standing. Both spaces are ideal for a range of
events, including product launches, private dinners, corporate functions, intimate weddings and
birthday celebrations.
STOKE BAR
From the large Stoke Bar deck you can host a range of events from corporate drinks to
engagements, birthdays or Christmas functions. Our extensive wine list and range of
beverages, as well as our bar menu, will add an impressive element to any occasion. Reserve a
space on the deck for a small casual gathering, or book the Stoke Bar exclusively for cocktail
events of up to 150.
STOKEHOUSE EXCLUSIVE
The architecturally impressive, Stokehouse Q can be made exclusively yours for any event. The
space caters for up to 140 seated on the ground level and up to 450 for cocktail-style events.
With full use of all dining and bar areas alongside unsurpassed views of Brisbane, your event is
sure to hit the mark.
RESTAURANT GROUP BOOKINGS
For parties of 11-20 guests we offer a reduced choice menu in the restaurant. The reduced
menu has been specifically designed to include the most popular choices from our à la carte
menu, and offers guests 4 choices for each course (entrée, main and dessert). Side dishes and
tea or coffee are also included. Please contact the reception team for more information on
group bookings.

Beverage packages offer a fixed cost per guest for beverages over a certain period of time. Soft drinks

Please do not hesitate to contact us to check availability on a certain date or arrange to see the space.

A tentative reservation can be held for 7 days awaiting a deposit. If the deposit is not received within
the timeframe arranged, the space may be released to other parties.
If less than 30 days’ notice of cancellation is given the deposit cannot be refunded. All cancellations
must be in writing.
Stokehouse Q requires that final guest numbers be confirmed 3 day prior to the function date. This
number can be decreased or increased however the number confirmed at 3 days prior is the
minimum amount that will be charged.
Final payment must be finalised before or at the completion of the function.
If the client wishes to pre-pay any amount via direct deposit, the funds must be received into
Stokehouse Q bank account 2 working days prior to the function date to be accepted.
A discretionary 8% gratuity will be added to the total food and beverage component of the final
account. This is inclusive of a 1.1% credit card surcharge. The credit card surcharge still applies if the
gratuity is with-held.
Please note a 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.
To cut & individually plate your wedding cake will cost an additional $5.00 per person (please note
this is wedding cakes only).
Children’s meals are $50.00 per child. This is for a main course, dessert & soft drink or fruit juice.
All prices include GST.
Strict regulations are in place with regards to noise levels. Stokehouse Q reserves the right to lower
noise levels if it results in disturbing other restaurant guests or residents. It is for this reason that
Stokehouse Q do not allow drums in the venue nor live band performance after 10.30pm (DJ’s may
play through the venue’s sound system until midnight).
Celebratory decorations such as candles are ineffective due to our river side location; sparklers pose
a smoke and fire hazard. The host of the event will be liable for the full cost of the fire department
call out fee and any damages incurred as a result of use of these items.
