Where would we be without you, our
friends? You are our donors, volunteers, golf professionals, club staffers, tournament players, and
of course caddies, scholarship recipients and alumni. Some
of you are actively involved in the Fund: you serve on our
Board, you are a club representative, you participate in our
Pro Am, and you officiate our events. Many of you don’t have
as much time to give, but you have been consistent donors
through our Bag Tag Program. Others have just recently
learned of us through sponsoring a friend in our dawn ‘til
dusk Golf Marathon. Regardless, we appreciate each of you
for your commitment, participation, and support, all of which
make our program such a success.
Our mission remains the same: to grow the Fund so that
we may financially support the college aspirations of deserving young men and women who work in golf at WGA clubs.
With your help the CSF had a terrific 2014. We granted
new awards to eighty deserving students, bringing our current totals to 283 scholars representing $3.8 million in four
year commitments.
To support these commitments, we set forth this year
with the goal of expanding relationships with our key constituencies. As with any thriving enterprise, we must develop
and enhance our relationships to create growth. Given our
activities and your response, we are pleased to report herein
on this success.
We began the season with a new event at Two Roads
Brewery in Stratford, CT. Old and new faces enjoyed brews
and putts, as well as great food and tours of the new brewery,
all for our cause. We then defied weather to complete two
sold out events. In July, we had record attendance for our
Alumni Reunion at Saint Andrews and in August we persevered despite the dire forecast to complete our sold out Pro
Am at Winged Foot. Ending the year on another high note,
the Marathon was one of the most successful ever, raising
well over $100,000 at Fenway. We also expanded our roster
of contributing clubs and added several new Board Members.
None of this would have been possible without you.
Please continue to spread the word and help us build our
constituencies. Friends, you are all ambassadors for the CSF,
and we thank you.

FUND, INC.
Serving Fairfield (CT), BRONX, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam,
Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester (NY) Counties
The WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund was established in 1956
by Willie P. Turnesa and Udo Reinach to provide college
scholarships to students with financial need. Since its inception,
the CSF has provided in excess of $10,000,000 in scholarship
aid to 2,425 students. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to
$8,000 per year. Applicants must demonstrate financial need,
have applied to or currently attend school, and have worked a
minimum of two seasons in service to golf at a WGA member
club. Service to golf includes caddying, golf course maintenance,
and work in the pro shop, bag room or on the practice range.
Ways to Help
• Join the Bag Tag Program
All donors receive bag tags to acknowledge their support.
Those who choose to donate at a higher level become members of the Par-Birdie-Eagle-Double Eagle Clubs with
contributions respectively of $150-$300-$600-$1,000.

THE PRO AM
The 33rd Annual Caddie Scholarship Fund Pro Am was
held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Winged Foot Golf
Club in Mamaroneck, NY. The day consisted of morning
& afternoon shotguns, and an evening cocktail reception.
Prizes were awarded to winners of the team competitions,
with low professionals receiving a prize as well. This fun
day of golf was in support of the Caddie Scholarship Fund,
raising approximately $49,000 for scholarships. We thank
all of you who participated in this sold out event.

GOLF
MARATHON
The 2014 Golf Marathon was held on September 8th at
Fenway Golf Club in Scarsdale, NY. Participants included
WGA caddie scholars, caddie masters, golf professionals
and club members at Westchester and Connecticut clubs.
The participants enlisted the support of friends, family and
club members to benefit the CSF. Local businesses also
supported their efforts by donating prizes for the most
holes played and leading fundraisers. Playing from dawn
until dusk, the thirty-four participants completed 2,175
holes.

The Caddie Scholarship Fund held a special event at Two
Roads Brewing Company in Stratford, CT on June 19th,
2014. Club members and staff of WGA clubs joined CSF
Alumni for dinner, special beers, brewery tours and prizes.
The highlight of the evening was the indoor putting green
