production and where the annual homogeneity of
its working find it boring, makes the development of
craft beer proliferate, although just a few are what
really stand out for its philosophy and quality of their
elaborations. Know, under the “baton” of some of the
brewers and fashion brands, how quality and size
does matter, in the case of beer, for sure!
Mr. Fernando Campoy and Mr. Joseph Gadaleta
The craft beer in Spain lives his sweet spot, where an
increasing number of devotees of fine wines make a
pilgrimage among the micro-breweries of worship, in
search of their particular “Holy Grail”, but with a liquid
form and foam, of course. This interesting session
shows the craft beer phenomenon, its truths and difficulties, and if this trend is presented as a single flash
in time or has “exploded” to be instituted.

“Successful Micro-Breweries:
Because size does matter”
After the awakening of the craft beer in our country,
where many micro-breweries daily work in order to
offer a product full of uniqueness and character that
reveals the option chosen by their master brewers,
among the multitude of existing working styles,
the deliberate ostracism that some gourmets have
issued to industrial beers for their large volume of

“Styles of Ales: Variety
to avoid boredom”
Few drinks on the planet offered, through the interaction of its raw materials and the development that guides every brewmaster, such a broad range of styles,
feelings, enjoyment and typologies as those provided
by the craft beers. Mythical styles such as Lambic,
Pale Ale or Weissbier, interact with other more anonymous as Faro, Kristall-Weizen or California Common,
among others. In this activity, delve into the different
types of ales and emotions that are able to transmit
to our senses, where you will not be able to get bored
or even say that there is no craft beer tailored to your
style. Do you dare?

(Lambic, Gueuze...), and then the market was revolutioned by the arrival of hybrid beers (you read that
right). Discover in this magical activity the interaction of factors that has led to different beer styles,
increasingly at stake and sought after by gourmets
and less purists looking for new nuances. Explosive.
Mrs. Silvia García
19:00 / 20:30 h. Fuengirola Room
Hop has become today one of the key players at
the time of making a successful craft beer, where
its characteristic bitterness and aroma provide the
point of distinction and sensuality in every brewery
processing, although this has not always been like
this since prior to the pronunciation of the German
Beer Purity Law of 1516, various herbs were often
used in different countries (rosemary, yarrow, wormwood, horehound, cumin...) to produce beers. Step
into this original activity and check how the spirit of
the beers was to the Middle Ages. Welcome to the
Gruit Ale movement!

“Hops: The origin of the Force”
For many micro-breweries, hops have become one of
the elements of greater uniqueness and differentiation, where its processors, so as the alchemists of
yore, are looking for interaction of bitter, aromatic or
mixed hops, where the names of some of its varieties,
such as Boadicea, Calypso, Galaxy, Sibilla, Chinook or
Warrior, among others, give the soul to of each of its
elaborations. In this magical activity, guided by one of
the gurus of nowdays, we will see how in hops and in
force, there are always different alternatives.

In the world of craft beer, traditionally brewers have
“plucked the Daisy” to use a high temperature (Ale
style) or low temperature (Lager style) in fermentation, beers of spontaneous fermentation are few
known in our country becasuse of its uniqueness

“Cocktails & Beers: Blackguard
mixology”
The revolution that is living the actual mixology with
bartenders that create their own styles, mixing Tiki
and Km.0 styles or presenting their combined in a
funny packaging, has not gone unnoticed by micro-breweries, where the recovery of classic cocktails having beers as focus, like the Black Velvet or
Snakebit, get added to other brazen cocktails designed by visionaries looking for a point of impudence
in their cocktails. In this activity, guided by one of
the most dynamic waiters in Andalusia, we will discover the most “blackguard” side of the craft beer
in its synergy with the mixology of the moment.
