August Newsletter
FiftyForward enriches the lives of adults 50+ by providing pathways to health, well-being, and lifelong learning.
August 2014
Letter from the
Director
Dear Turner Center
Members,
This month we hope that
you will take advantage
of the many trips and
outings that we have
planned for you! We are
exploring several of our
other centers around
Middle Tennessee where
we will get to enjoy some
great musical
performances.
Also, did you know that
as a member of the
FiftyForward J. L.
Turner Center you can
take advantage of the
numerous other services
that FiftyForward
offers? These services
include: RSVP (Retired
Senior and Volunteer
Program), Meals on
Wheels, Adult Day
Services, Care
Management and
Victory Over Crime. If
you have any questions
about how you can take
advantage of these
programs, please see a
Turner Center staff
member.

Around the World with FiftyForward
There is so much to talk about
when you bring up travel with
FiftyForward. There are worldclass destinations planned for both
near and far for 2014 and 2015.
The trips coordinated through
FiftyForward Travel are planned
exclusively with active older adults
in mind.
On The Road with Joan motor
coach excursions are coordinated
by the Turner Center’s own Joan
Sincerbox. Joan travels to
destinations throughout Middle
Tennessee and Southern Kentucky
all year long. There is even the
monthly trip to Harrah’s in
Metropolis, IL for you to enjoy.
Janice Judd coordinates travel
adventures to national and
international destinations. Come
see the world with FiftyForward
Travel. For a list of unique travel
