1 Family destination
This year Crans-Montana is proud to have been awarded the label Family
Destination by the Swiss Tourism Federation. Crans-Montana is one of only two
destinations in western Switzerland that can claim this label. Thanks to the
plethora of sports and leisure activities for families, Crans-Montana is THE
destination in the Alps for families.
It’s nigh-on impossible for kids or teenagers to get bored here! The resort of CransMontana has responded proactively to the needs and wishes of families, and
together with its partners, has made sure that there is a seamless all-round service for the public. The
Family Destination label is awarded only if various conditions and strict criteria are met. So, you can be
assured that the entire infrastructure has been designed specifically to ensure your children’s safety and
fun.
To make this project such a success, we have had to work very closely with all partners geared towards
families in the tourism sector. Without them, it wouldn’t have been possible to obtain this label of quality.
We therefore give our sincere thanks to all those who have contributed to this project by sharing our
vision.

2.2 Aminona Grandeur Nature

The Grandeur Nature park in Aminona is a place of relaxation, ideal for walking and making the most of the
stunning panorama, sunshine and untouched nature. Hiking and biking enthusiasts will love the many trails
along the bisses, in the forests and over the mountain pastures.
Grandeur Nature is also laying on a programme of gentler activities which are supervised and free for all
family members.
On the culture front, guests can visit the Colombire eco-museum or learn about making cheese in one of
the mountain refuges. There are lots of restaurants and refuges with sunny terraces ready to lay on
gourmet experiences for visitors.
A programme of activities starting from Aminona and in the valley of the Tièche. Suggestions for activities

3.5 OBABAO, outdoor ladder game

Obabao has taken the bases of Snakes & Ladders and adapted it to human dimensions. The game consists
of moving over 100 spaces to reach the top of the ladder as quickly as possible and win. You can quickly get
to the top, and just as quickly tumble down again. Between spaces, there are slides, Flying Foxes, ropes,
bridges, tunnels and balancing bars to face.
Obabao stretches over 9,000 m 2 in the Cratogne area to the east of the village, at the start of the Bénou
bisse..

4.7 Crans-Montana Climbing Wall (Moubra Tennis Center)

The Crans-Montana Climbing Wall is located in the Moubra tennis centre (Rte de la Moubra 73). It has a
500m2 wall and a 100m2 boulder area. Routes lead up to a height of 13.5 metres, from 4C to 8A, there are
almost sixty different routes on the climbing wall and around forty routes in the boulder area.
Up to age 13, children must be accompanied by a legal guardian. From 14 to 17 years, they can climb
alone, with written autorisation from their parents.
