Old Mother Hubbard,
Went to her cupboard,
T o give the poor dog a bone,
When she came there
The cupboard was bare,
And so the poor dog had none.

T o buy him some bread;
When she came back
The dog was dead !

She went to the Undertaker’s
T o buy him a coffin ;
When she came back
The dog was laughing.

H e was smoaking his pipe

T he dog sat in a chair.

The dog stood on his head.

H e was dancing a jig.

She went to the Fruiterer’s
T o buy him some fru it;

H e was playing the flute.
