second s t o r y opens out onto t h i s deck.

Winthrop Highlands was d e v e l o p e d in the e a r l y 20th century as
a p r i m a r i l y year-round r e s i d e n t i a l community.
Upland S t r e e t , l a i d
out between 1917 and 1925, was one of the l a s t s t r e e t s t o be l a i d
out in the n e i g h b o r h o o d .
This house was b u i l t between c . 1926-7;
the address i s f i r s t l i s t e d in the 1927 a s s e s s o r ' s l i s t as the
p r o p e r t y of Ada and E. Maynard Snow.
Ada was a housewife and E.
Maynard s o l d F u l l e r Brushes.
