Dear Friends,
We would like to welcome you to our first annual Shindig by the Shore. We are so
grateful for the support you have given our schools, Anchor Academy and Cardinal
Newman Academy, by attending and participating in today’s event. We have been
blessed by your generosity and your willingness to support our efforts to educate our
students.
The mission of the schools has been to provide students a classical education in light
of the truths of the Catholic faith, in a setting in which the whole child is formed. Our
goal is that our students live an integrated life with Jesus Christ at the center, which
will ensure that all natural gifts and interests are ordered properly. Anchor and
Cardinal Newman Academies are committed to providing this type of education to all
who seek it and our efforts to make it affordable are dependent upon your
contributions.
Since its founding in 2005, Anchor Academy, our K-8 school, has grown from 23
students to nearly 60 this academic year. Cardinal Newman Academy, our new
high school, has 10 students. The steady growth and success of our programs can be
attributed to the efforts of our teachers, who are dedicated to educating our students as
well as witnessing to the Catholic faith; our families whose continuous support and
enthusiasm have kept the school vital; and you our generous benefactors.
We believe the best way to appreciate all that our schools are accomplishing is
through a first hand experience. Our benefactors are always welcome to tour the
school, see it in action and meet some of the people involved. Please call our main
number and arrange a visit!
