YOUR BUSINESS JET SHOULD
MAKE BUSINESS SENSE.
Anyone considering a new business jet purchase will most likely be confronted with this notable and
inescapable fact: half of all business jets flying in the world today are Cessna Citations. And with
good reason. Citations are known as essential and reliable tools that deliver—day in and day out—for
both individuals and businesses world wide. From the sporty, entry-level Mustang to the world’s
fastest civilian jet, each one of our seven Citation models is designed to strike an enviable balance
between high performance and cost-efficient operation. In fact, no other family of business jets offers
such a seamless progression of pilot-friendly aircraft with such extraordinary capabilities for the
money. Which not only explains why Citations are so popular with the world’s leading companies, but
why they consistently rank high in residual value among competing aircraft.

BUY INTO AN IDEA,
NOT JUST AN AIRCRAFT.
When you buy a Citation, you do more than become the owner of one of the world’s most sought after
business jets. You partner with a company that has long played, and continues to play, a major role
in the advancement of aviation knowledge and technology. Every Citation we build embodies more
than 80 years of manufacturing experience, as well as a long list of aviation firsts. And every one is
also an example of our core philosophy: that the most elegant engineering solutions are often the
simplest, and that the degree of simplicity is directly related to safety in flight.

THE POINT OF ENTRY PERFECTED.
CITATION
MUSTANG
The ideal entry-level business jet should offer outstanding performance in a stylish aircraft that
makes the transition to flying a jet easy. The Mustang is all that, and more. The straight-wing design
provides docile handling while delivering exceptional short field performance, the ability to climb
to 41,000 feet in only 27 minutes, and a cruise speed up to 390 mph. On the flight deck, the Garmin®
G1000® avionics suite combines at-a-glance situational awareness with intuitive operation to reduce
pilot workload, while in the cabin passengers will enjoy a level of comfort typically found only in
aircraft costing millions more. And, like all Citations, the Mustang is designed with simple, efficient,
and easy-to-maintain systems, so it costs less to operate than any twin-engine turboprop.

MORE OF WHAT YOU LOVE ABOUT CJs.
CITATION
CJ2+
Whether you need a powerful business tool with a small fiscal footprint, or you simply love to fly and
want to take the next step up in performance, the single-pilot capable CJ2+ delivers the goods. We
improved on many of the best features of the CJ series—excellent landing and takeoff capability; a
quieter, more comfortable cabin; more speed; greater range; and a higher service ceiling—and put
them all into one very owner-friendly aircraft. With its signature, natural laminar flow wings and
two powerfully efficient Williams FJ44 engines, the CJ2+ is among the most fuel efficient in its class.
Buying into the exceptional value of a CJ2+ doesn’t just make for a highly intelligent travel decision.
It places you among those who fly the smartest business jets in the world.

STEPPING UP A MAJOR THIRD.
CITATION
CJ3
There’s much to admire in the shape a CJ3 cuts on the ramp. But its real beauty lies in what the CJ3
can do. Such as whisking up to eight passengers skyward in a level of comfort a luxury automobile
would envy. Or taking only 27 minutes at maximum takeoff weight to reach its above-the-weather
ceiling of 45,000 ft. (13,716 m). Or getting everyone closer to their destination by landing at airports
with shorter runways other business jets simply can’t access. Chalk up the CJ3’s stellar performance
to superior engineering. Such as its supercritical, straight-wing design that produces excellent lift at
approach speeds and dramatically lowers drag at cruise altitudes. It’s just one of many capabilities
that make the CJ3 a beautiful thing.

GOOD THINGS COME IN FOURS.
CITATION
CJ4
Meet the latest member of the world’s most successful light jet family, the all-new Citation CJ4. Though
it’s by far the largest CJ we’ve ever designed, size is only the most obvious of many advances that make
the CJ4 a remarkable achievement in single-pilot certified jets. A new wing, coupled with the latest
generation of FADEC-equipped Williams International FJ44 engines, preserves the pilot-friendly flight
qualities and low operating costs characteristic of the CJ family, while delivering more speed and
range. A redesigned flight deck takes situational awareness to new heights and pilot workloads to new
lows. The cabin is larger, more comfortable, and outfitted with new, cutting-edge entertainment and
communication systems. All said, the CJ4 is quite simply what every light jet aspires to be.

MAKING THE BEST EVEN BETTER.
CITATION
XLS+
The XLS+ owes its designation as the world’s best-selling business jet to a masterful combination
of true midsize comfort with the flexibility and economy of a light jet. Our newest model has a
sharper, sleeker nose as well as an integrated Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite and a redesigned
interior. The straight wing design gives the XLS+ a docile disposition in flight and excellent shortfield performance. We also made it maintenance friendly, designing every system with simplicity
and easy access in mind. Of course, like all models in the Citation line, the XLS+ takes safety
seriously. But don’t be fooled. Safe doesn’t mean slow. Together, the twin Pratt & Whitney turbofans
pack more than 8,200 lbs. of heart-thumping thrust.

HOW TO LEAVE A LASTING IMPRESSION.
CITATION
SOVEREIGN
The Citation Sovereign combines true intercontinental range and the most spacious cabin in its class
with acquisition and operating costs low enough to earn the quiet respect of even the most vocal of
shareholders. In fact, the Sovereign is built to be the ultimate business tool, cruising upwards of 458
knots (848 km/hr) to more locations in more comfort and greater efficiency than most midsize business
jets. When you do find it necessary to land, you’ll rarely be on the ground longer than you want, because
the Sovereign is engineered with reliability in mind. Its systems are simple, proven, hard to break, and
easy to maintain, so you can count on being where you want to be, when you want to be there. And that
always makes a good impression.

FLY YOUR VERY OWN TIME MACHINE.
CITATION
X
Cessna’s flagship business jet is also one of the industry’s most successful and respected aircraft.
Recipient of the Collier Trophy for being the first certified commercial aircraft in U.S. history to
achieve a cruise speed of Mach .92, the Citation X may not defy the laws of space and time, but it
does let you flirt with the legal limits. To date, Citation Xs have flown the equivalent of four trips to
the sun, and they’ve taken off and landed more than one million times. Why do Citation Xs enjoy such
high utilization? Simply put, no other business jet can match the combination of range, speed, and
economy offered by the world’s fastest business jet. Fly Los Angeles to New York in just four hours, or
New York to London in six, and do it with a level of comfort and efficiency only possible in a Citation X.

A CULTURE OF SAFETY.
Our respect for safety is deeply rooted in our company culture: from concept and design to fabrication
and testing, we typically choose to go above and beyond what’s necessary or required in our efforts
to make every aircraft we build as safe as possible. The result is that today’s Citations are routinely
ranked among the safest business jets flying, and they have been awarded the prestigious Collier
Trophy for their outstanding safety record. Aircraft, however, are only as safe as those who fly them.
That’s why we have partnered with the premier aviation training provider, FlightSafety International,
to develop and deliver the highest quality pilot and maintenance technician training available.
FlightSafety offers full-motion simulator-based
training for the full line of Citation business jets.

A SMART BUSINESS DECISION.
Whatever the aviation needs of your business, chances are we have the perfect aircraft for the job.
But meeting mission requirements is only one reason to select a Citation for your next business jet.
Your decision will likely consider the track record of the aircraft design, its overall cost of ownership,
the worldwide availability of qualified service and parts, as well as the longevity and financial stability
of the company that sells and supports your aircraft. In all these areas, the Cessna Citation excels.
More than 6,100 Citation business jets have been delivered since 1972, and have logged in excess of
24,500,000 hours. Along the way, Citations have earned a reputation for precision craftsmanship,
efficient operation, and docile flight characteristics. In short, Citations make up the most successful
business jet family in history because they deliver so well what businesses really need. Allow us to
demonstrate. Make an appointment to learn more about the Citation family of business jets today.
