Brother Terry Todd, from the Ignatius Residence next door,
will be going back to Micronesia where he spent 23 years of
his life as a missionary. He will spend three weeks on the island of Pohnpei and three weeks on the island of Truk. Both
places have projects for him to do. He will return on April
29th and will continue to sing with the Holy Spirit Choir.

Adult Faith Formation
March 2014
Holy Spirit Church is launching a Scripture Series
on the Gospel of St. Luke, by Mr. Vincent Scozzari,
Associate Director of Adult Faith Formation in the
Archdiocesan Office of Religious Education. He has
taught Scripture and Theology classes for many
years throughout the Archdiocese. Mr. Scozzari will
offer three presentations and the focus of each evening will be:
Thursday, March 13th - The Young Jesus - Luke
begins to tell us about Jesus, who he is, who he will
become and why he came among us.
Thursday, March 20th - Jesus’ ministry begins - He
teaches, he heals, and he forgives. The twelve apostles now have a role model.
Thursday, March 27th - The journey comes to an
end - We proceed to Jerusalem to prepare for the
passion, death and resurrection.

St. Michael Special School
One of the main functions of the Joy Activity Center at St. Michael School is recycling and selling
Mardi Gras Beads. The parades will soon be finished and the students are looking for beads to fill
their bins. The beads can be placed in the container
in the vestibule and Jane Mix, with the help of
Molly and Liz, will transport the beads to the school.
To honor the legacy of the late
Archbishop Philip M. Hannan, the
Archdiocese of New Orleans
Catholic Cultural Heritage Center
will host a special exhibit titled,
The Archbishop Wore Combat
Boots: The Life & Ministry of
Archbishop Philip Hannan at the
Old Ursuline Convent Museum
continues through May 26, 2014.
General admission to the museum
is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors
