Warranty
All Badlands Products are backed by a
completely unconditional lifetime warranty.
Anything happens to a Badlands Pack we will
repair or replace the pack, no questions asked.
If your dog chews it up, we’ll fix it.
If you run over it with your ATV, we’ll fix it.
If it is not the best piece of equipment you’ve
ever owned, we’ll do whatever it takes to make
sure you are satisfied.
Quality of Construction
Because our warranty covers anything that can happen to
a pack our materials and methods of construction must
be the very best. Therefore we use the following:
• Our own proprietary fabric, KXO-32, which is extremely
quite in cold weather, water-resistant and has superior
rip stop characteristics.
• Kevlar Aramid thread at all stress points.
A single strand of this thread can lift over 100
lbs.
• Hypalon reinforcement at all major
compression points. Hypalon is an industrial
gasket material that is literally strong enough
to tow a truck.
• All webbing is sewn into two seams where it
is bar tacked and then seam taped.
• All webbing is the highest grade nylon with
Aceteyl buckles.
• “Glove Grabber” zipper pulls, easy to use in
the cold weather.
• Inverted Zipper Chains keep the teeth from
getting fouled with snow, sand, ice and mud.
This also aides in keeping water from entering
through the zipper teeth.
• All interior seams taped to resist seam
separation and increase water resistance.

What is Bio-thermic™
• Our performance apparel actually works with your body’s
own ability to generate heat. By amplifying this capability
you greatly improve your odds of success-Not because
you will be a better shot, but because you are warm and
dry. Allowing you to continue the chase longer. And if you
are like us, “the chase is what it’s all about.”
Layering System
•
The most important element to staying warm is first staying dry. The Badlands® Biothermic™ base layer pulls moisture away from your body, helping to regulate your
core temperature. It is made from a multi-stretch polyester, which allows a full
anatomical range of motion resulting in a chronically comfortable base. The fabric we
use has been impregnated with the most effective anti-microbial system available. It
reduces funk and adds to the life of the garment.

Now that you are dry, it is time to hold on to your body’s heat with the best insulating
layers ever built. Our own independent laboratory studies rated them at somewhere
around R-One Million. Hell, if you covered your attic in this stuff you could go all winter
long without firing up the furnace. All Badlands®' Mid Weight Insulation and outer
layers offer superior tailoring with articulated shoulders, knees and elbows; which
greatly enhances your ability to stay active and move freely.

So we kept you dry with the base layer, and retained your body heat with some gnarly
insulation. However, there are three parts to obtaining functional fusion; the third is to
keep out the cold. No SH#$*$ you say… Although, this may sound obvious it is far
more difficult than you may expect. It is actually three challenges in one. We conquer
each one of these through the use of several unique materials which stop the wind
and rain, and allow moisture to “vapor out” through a microporus membrane.
Mammoth Fleece and Dryvent™
• An incredible array of performance fibers which
have been blended together to create optimal heat
retention.
• The DryVent™ Membrane features a Hydro-folic
coating, which draws moisture towards the
surface of the fabric. This highly efficient vapor
transfer keeps you dry and comfortable, even
under the most extreme conditions.
SRS ™ and Variable Motion Seams
• SRS is the ultimate antimicrobial treatment. It is
impregnated deep into the fabric’s fiber, allowing it
to kill odor causing microbes in the most effective
way possible. SRS is so effective it will last up to 50
wash cycles.
• Designed to enhance your body’s natural range of
motion, each seam is tailored and articulated to
perfection. This system guarantees absolute
comfort for all Badlands®’ garments.
Hex-lite ™ and Bio-Shell
• With its honeycomb design this proprietary fleece
increases heat retention by trapping warm air into a
multitude of interlinking channels. This pattern is
not only efficient at retaining heat, but actually
reduces the garments bulk at the same time.

custom treated fleece that will keep your core nice
and warm.
