Formally known as Hotel Ware, the newly renovated Ware
Hotel now embodies community spirit by offering affordable
accommodations to the citizens of Waycross and surrounding
towns. By enhancing this historic building, exposing its
breathtaking views to the public, we proudly welcome this
opportunity to let history be relived.
Once offering accommodations to people such as the Duke and
Duchess of Windsor and Clint Eastwood, the 110 room hotel
has been modified to spaciously serve 35 new apartment home
dwellers. Located on the corner of Elizabeth Avenue and Tebeau
Street, Ware Hotel thrived as the downtown social and travel hub
in the coveted business district.
After years of abandonment, we are excited to showcase
Ware Hotel, restored to its previously pristine condition, to the
wonderful citizens of Waycross.
