The Confederacy (Psa 83:5-8)
Psa 83:5-8
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
 THEY ARE CONFEDERATE= what follows is a 10-nation confederacy
committed to a final jihad to exterminate the nation of Israel
 In the past, Judah and Jerusalem were threatened by the confederacy
between the 10 northern tribes of Israel and Syria
Isa 7:2; 8:12
And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart
was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.
Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear
ye their fear, nor be afraid.

 In the future, the Jews will be threatened by the 10-fold federation of the
Antichrist

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong
exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue
with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after
them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet;
but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

8) The Philistines (v.7)= PALESTINIANS (particularly in the GAZA
STRIP)
9) The inhabitants of Tyre (v.7)= SOUTHERN LEBANON
10) Assur (v.8)= IRAQ

None of these nations or peoples are listed as part of invasion in Ezekiel
38:1-7
 All of them, except Assur, shared a direct border with Israel at the the time

Esau was convinced the blessing of the Abrahamic covenant was going to
pass on to him as the firstborn (Gen 27:1-4,31)

younger brother Jacob
 Esau hated Jacob for this and was
determined to KILL him

And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing
wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said
in his heart, The days of mourning for my father
are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

Herod the Great was an Idumean
 EDOM and Mt. Seir are located
south of the Dead Sea in
SOUTHERN JORDAN

first further supports this

All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace
with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a
wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.

