Visionary Winemaker Jayson Woodbridge always had a desire to
Visionary Winemaker Jayson Woodbridge always had a desire to make Pinot Noir. He
contacted the owners of historic Stanly Ranch, in the Carneros appellation of Napa.
He was shortly thereafter granted access to the very best blocks on the property to
craft his wine.
Inspired by his grandmother’s baking and the artwork of TR Colletta, Cherry Pie is at
once rich and layered, redolent of the flavors and aromas of something delicious and
beautiful, being made with care.
Made in small, micro-fermented lots from the finest single-vineyards, you can expect
Cherry Pie to uniquely represent the Pinot Noir varietal.

“Displays slightly
more intense fruit and
lushness than its older
counterpart.”
– Robert Parker,
Wine Advocate
“Centered on vivid wild
berry, raspberry, smoky
oak and road tar notes.
Most rewarding on the
finish, where the flavors
fold together.”
“Shows terrific blueberry,
black raspberry and floral
notes, a medium to fullbodied mouthfeel, good
acidity and excellent
delineation and precision.”
– James Laube,

The vineyard:
Historic vineyard (since 1880) at
sea level, adjacent to San Pablo
Bay. Gently rolling hills with
clay-loam soils.
The vineyard:
500-600 Above Sea Level with
consistent wind through the
Petaluma Gap. Named for the
fault line it straddles.
The vineyard:
Less than 10 miles from the
Pacific Ocean – cool, growing
season. Goldridge loam soil and
sand create excellent drainability.
Wine profile:
Saturated ruby hue, concentrated
black cherry and red fruit
aromas introduce a full creamy
palate. Layers, upon layers of
fresh red fruit, strawberry jam,
cocoa and toast. Mouthwatering,
ripe red fruit and buttery vanilla
linger on the palate. Beautifully
textured and ready to enjoy.
Wine profile:
Ruby to garnet in the glass –
the nose offers gorgeous, juicy
layers of blueberries, raspberries
and bramble with smoky bacon
and delicate hints of mineral
and pastoral earth. The palate is
luscious and filling. Big, round
and satisfying – this Pinot
Noir finishes with even more
blueberries, smoked meat and
toasty vanilla.
Wine profile:
Showcasing a racier side of
Russian River Valley Pinot Noir,
the aromas are of raspberry
jam, wild strawberries, fig
and rhubarb. Notes of smoky
vanilla and cola are balanced
by spicy fruit compote and ripe,
structured tannins on the palate.
The finish is lingers with Bing
cherry and dark chocolate.
