Maintaining the skin’s vitality becomes much more of a challenge as we grow older and
healthy, toned skin, free from lines and imperfections is hard to achieve.
But thanks to Restylane we can take steps to make it easier, so our looks reflect the age
we feel rather than the age we are.
Restylane for revitalised looks
Restylane is an injectable treatment that contains hyaluronic acid.
Youthful skin is rich in hyaluronic acid (HA): a substance that binds water, hydrates the
skin, and promotes all-important softness and fullness. But as we age, the HA in our skin
gradually becomes less efficient and leads to loss of volume and the tell-tale signs of
aging. When injected into the skin, Restylane effectively gives Nature a helping hand.
Restylane gets to the heart of the problem of ageing skin
Restylane instantly boosts the skin’s hydration system and restores youthful volume by
supporting the skin’s structure to delay the signs of ageing. Restylane also encourages
healthy, glowing skin; it stimulates the production of collagen1 and improves skin
elasticity2,3. It lifts and smoothes away lines and restores your skin tone and youthful
volume without loss of facial expression.

Restylane is produced by a unique and patented process involving minimal chemical
interference. As a result the hyaluronic acid gel in Restylane closely resembles our own
HA which means Restylane is safe and the treatment results are long lasting.
Whether you want to improve the condition and appearance of your skin, banish lines,
or simply refresh your looks, you can feel confident that Restylane is skin-friendly and
safe: Restylane – tested, tried, trusted.

Keeping your looks is not just about the management of facial lines and wrinkles but

more difficult to attain as the years go by. But help is at hand!
The Restylane Vital range restores skin glow and lustre, to refresh your overall

Q
FAQs
Q: WHAT CAN RESTYLANE DO FOR ME?
A: Restylane helps to smooth lines, create pretty lips and restore cheeks to their former
glory, so with a treatment you’ll look more youthful and fresh faced for around a year.
The range has been created to work at different levels in the skin, from correcting sun
damage with Restylane Vital Light to a non-surgical mid face-lift with Restylane SubQ.
Q: HOW DOES RESTYLANE WORK?
A: Youthful skin is rich in hyaluronic acid (HA): a substance that binds water, hydrates the
skin and promotes all-important softness and fullness. However, as we age, our HA gradually
becomes less efficient which leads to the loss of natural elasticity and youthful volume.
Restylane is Stabilized Non-Animal Hyaluronic Acid gel (NASHA). When injected into
the skin it gives Nature a helping hand. Restylane boosts the skin’s hydration system,
stimulates the production of collegen1 and restores youthful volume by supporting the
skin’s structure to delay the signs of ageing and encourage the production of healthy,
glowing skin.
Q: IS RESTYLANE SAFE?
A: The beauty of Restylane is that its safety and efficacy is clinically proven and this is
what sets it apart from other injectable treatments, with over 15 million treatments
worldwide and over 16 years of clinical excellence as testimony to its safety and quality.
Q: HOW IS RESTYLANE GEL MADE?
A: The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is produced by a unique and patented process
involving minimal chemical interference. As a result the hyaluronic acid gel in Restylane
closely resembles our own HA which means that the risk of inflammatory reactions is
minimised and treatment results are long lasting. For more detailed information please visit

Q: WHAT DOES RESTYLANE TREATMENT INVOLVE?
A: The Restylane gel is injected in tiny quantities using a fine needle. It can be used to
soften lines, add fullness and boost condition and tone. The procedure takes about 20
minutes. The treatment benefits can be seen instantly and Restylane does not affect
facial expression. No skin test is required because Restylane does not contain any
animal-derived ingredients.
Restylane and Restylane Perlane contain pain-reducing lidocaine for a comfortable
treatment experience.
Restylane is ideal for treating all areas of the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
Q: IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME WITH RESTYLANE?
A: You can expect slight redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, itching and/or bruising
following Restylane treatment. This is the same as you might expect with any type of
injection. However, this is temporary and generally disappears after a few days. With lip
enhancement, it is wise to choose your treatment time with care since your lips may
become swollen and appear slightly uneven for a few days.
Q: HOW LONG DO THE EFFECTS OF RESTYLANE LAST?
A: One of the great advantages of Restylane is that the effects are long lasting but not
permanent. You are always in control of your looks. Recent clinical studies show that topup treatments prolong duration to around eighteen months.4
Facial lines and facial shaping: top-up treatment is usually needed after 6-12 months.
Lip enhancement: top-up treatment is normally needed in about 6 months.
Skin revitalization: after an initial intense treatment of 3 sessions 2-3 weeks apart, topup sessions are normally recommended around every 6 months.
Q: HOW MUCH DOES A RESTYLANE TREATMENT COST?
A: During your pre-treatment consultation, you should discuss the cost of the treatment
with your practitioner.
Q: WHO MAKES RESTYLANE?
A: Restylane is produced by Q-Med, a Galderma Division. With headquarters in the city
of Uppsala, near Stockholm, and offices all around the world, the company continues
to invest in research and development in the interests of further improving patient
safety and satisfaction.
Q: WHO PROVIDES RESTYLANE TREATMENTS?
A: Only medically qualified healthcare professionals should administer Restylane
injections e.g. plastic surgeons, dermatologists, doctors and registered nurses.
