Music Notes…
Our parish music ministry will resume singing, at
the 10:00 and 11:30 liturgies, on Sunday,
September 10th.
In preparation for another
musical year, we are reaching out to all who find joy
in singing or playing an instrument. Rehearsals
will begin on Tuesday evenings, beginning
September 5th, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the
balcony of St. Joseph’s. Jane Touhey is our music
director and Bob Gaus conducts the Schola (10:00
a.m.) and Choir (11:30 a.m.)
Our ministry sings for Holy Days, Sunday
liturgies, concerts and other special occasions. We
have singers who currently attend St. Joseph’s
School, Colman and Kingston High School, young
adults and adults of all ages. Our music “family” is
a wonderful source of inspiration, musicality and
friendship. Music is provided.
Reading music is not a criteria… finding joy
in the Spirit and singing our faith is why we gather.
If you can sing on pitch… we need you! If you play
an instrument… we need you!
Please contact Bob Gaus at 845.389.1503
or music.saintjoseph.com or on Facebook!
We are now accepting registrations for the

CORONA SELF-HELP CENTER, INC.
Dear St. Joseph's Parishioners:
This is a letter of appreciation and gratitude. It's
also a letter to express our feeling towards the
benevolence of people like yourself.
As we stay sober, we can face almost anything with
the help of others. We are very grateful to you, your
team of servers and community for the generosity,
kindness and charity with which you have treated us
every time we have visited your parish.
Thank you for your time and your trust in us. We
have been reborn; therefore, we are in debt with
God primarily in life, because we died emotionally
and spiritually, many times, some of us nearly
physically. Every day we make the decision to turn
our will and our lives over to the care of God as we
understand him. We are survivors, all we have is
our life experience that can be an inspiration for
others to make the decision to change their way of
acting, being and thinking which will directly
change their way of living.
Your example of making a difference serving others
is also an encouragement that we appreciate and
value. For these reasons, our wishes for you are
that we pray to God to keep blessing you and
everyone around you, today and always.
Sincerely,
William J. Van Sickle III and Giovanni Scuotto
