Thursday, November 10
7 a.m. Depart Iowa’s Dairy Center for Genex Facilities (Shawano, WI).
$125 per person
11:45 a.m.
Lunch and Tour Genex Facilities. Meal sponsored by Genex. View collection and
processing lab at the Toystory Campus and tour Stony Hill facilities.

2:30 p.m.
Depart Genex Facilities .
3:30 p.m.
Tour Milk Source Genetics & Tidy View Dairy (Kaukauna, WI). Tidy View is home to
6,800 cows with a current RHA of 31,514. MilkSource Genetics houses the show animals,
50 cows and 75 heifers.
5 p.m.
Depart Milk Source Genetics.
5:15 p.m. Arrive at hotel (Little Chute, WI).
6:30 p.m. Supper at Main Event Steakhouse (Little Chute, WI). Meal sponsored by Lely.

7:30 a.m. Depart hotel for Wichman Farms (Appleton, WI).

8 a.m.
Tour Wichman Farms. Fourth generation dairy with 275 Holsteins milked by 4 Lely Astronauts
in a new facility built in 2013.
10 a.m.
Depart for Meadow Brook Dairy (Manitowoc, WI).
11:15 a.m.
Tour Meadow Brook Dairy. The farm milks 460 cows including Brown Swiss (24,308M, 1019F,
863P) and Holsteins (33,038M, 1210F, 1042P). The calf barn utilizes automatic calf feeders and
the herd genomic tests, breeding lower genetic animals to Wagyu beef.
1 p.m.
Depart for Sassy Cow Creamery (Columbus, WI). Sack lunch on the bus.
3 p.m.
Tour Sassy Cow Creamery. Farmstead dairy operation owned by the Baerwolf Family including
a 250-cow organic herd and a 450-cow traditional herd, these cows supply all of the milk for
on farm processing of milk and ice cream.
4:30 p.m.
Depart for Iowa’s Dairy Center (Calmar, IA).
8:30 p.m.
Arrive at Iowa’s Dairy Center.
