A RESOLUTION OF THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF CEDAREDGE, COLORADO,
Supporting a Department of Local Affairs
Tier I Energy and Mineral Assistance Grant Application
WHEREAS, the Town of Cedaredge streets have been impacted by the development,
and production of mineral resources, and
WHEREAS, services supporting energy and mineral exploration and extraction business
and residency provided by the town include water and sewer, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Cedaredge Board of Trustees agree that updating the
wastewater treatment facility is an important investment and have authorized increased sewer
rates for construction/updates to the existing facility; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Cedaredge is mandated to update the wastewater treatment
facility and discharge by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment by mid
2018; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Cedaredge has requested two hundred thousand dollars
($200,000) for engineering and design services.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the
Town of Cedaredge, Colorado, that:
1. The Town Administrator is authorized to sign and submit the Department of Local
Affairs Tier I Energy and Mineral Impact Assistance Grant for two hundred thousand
dollars.
2. The Board of Trustees of the Town of Cedaredge strongly support the application and
has appropriated matching funds for the Department of Local Affairs Tier I Energy and
Mineral Impact Assistance Grant.
3. The Board of Trustees of the Town of Cedaredge has authorized the expenditure of
funds necessary to meet the terms and obligations of the grant awarded.
4. The Town of Cedaredge has the ability to complete this project and has demonstrated
this ability in the four million dollar Waterline project 2005-2008, three quarter million
dollar SW Centennial Plaza project 2007-2008, half a million dollar Skate Park project
2006-2007 and one million West Main Street Improvement 2013.
5. This Resolution to be in full force and effect after passage and approval.

Town of Cedaredge
The Town of Cedaredge is a growing community located south of Grand Mesa in Delta County. The
town was incorporated in 1907. The area population is approximately 8,000 with over 2,000 in Town. In
addition, the area provides unprecedented access to the great Colorado outdoors including a variety of
opportunities available 15 minutes from Town, 10,000+ elevation on Grand Mesa the largest flat top
mountain, to motorized and non-motorized access to the Gunnison Gorge, the Gunnison River, less than
an hour from the Black Canyon, Powderhorn Ski resort and many other public lands.
Cedaredge Golf Club
The Golf Course is an exceptional golfing experience located in the foothills, with a combination of
elevated tees, challenging hole layouts, and spectacular vistas, this course will challenge all levels of
golfers. Four sets of tees will give all golfers of varying abilities to test their skills. In an era of
escalating greens fees, Cedaredge Golf Club is committed to an affordable, enjoyable golf experience,
and our atmosphere camaraderie and friendly customer service reflect it. Cedaredge Golf Club is located
at 500 SE Jay Avenue in Cedaredge Colorado.
Restaurant
The restaurant is located in the clubhouse. The operation is a full restaurant newly renovated with a pizza
oven, full kitchen prep area and major upgrade to all décor. Approximate facility area as follows:

Capital Improvements
All facilities for the operation of the restaurant are in place.
Restroom Facilities
The Lesser will be responsible for restroom cleaning and stocking restroom supplies. The estimated value
to the lessee is approximately $100 a month
Lease
A lease will be entered into with the Town of Cedaredge.
The Lessee will be required to maintain the facility to a high standard acceptable to the
Cedaredge Golf Club Golf Pro
The Lesser desires a restaurant with beverage services, available to locals and tourists on a yearround basis when the golf course is open.
Conditions of Proposal
The Town of Cedaredge reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
The Town of Cedaredge Golf Pro and Town Administrator will review proposals and the selected
recommend to the Board of Trustees at a Special Meeting. It is expected that the new lessee will
take possession as negotiated and approved by the Lesser.
Proposals must be signed by the interested applicant. A proposal made by a corporation shall
bear the corporate seal with signature(s) of the duly authorized officer or officers. All names and
addresses of directors and officers are to be given in case the proposal is made by a corporation.

Where a proposal is a joint venture, each of the partners must comply with this requirement.
Proposals shall be sealed and submitted in an envelope marked “THE CEDAREDGE GOLF
CLUB RESTAURANT PROPOSAL” and shall be delivered to Town Hall 235 W Main Street;
Cedaredge, CO 81413 (PO Box 398) on or before 12:00 noon local time, Friday January 10,
2014. No proposal will be opened or considered unless received on or before the specified
closing time, date and location.
The submittal shall include one (1) original of the proposal.

PROPOSAL SCOPE
The Town of Cedaredge is seeking restaurant lease bids for vacant restaurant space at the Cedaredge
Municipal Cedaredge Golf Club at 500 SE Jay Avenue in Cedaredge. Tours of the facility are available
by appointment only please call 970-856-7781 or 970-856-3123.
