Dear Parents:
Welcome to The Avery Coonley School. Our Enrichment Program was
developed in response to parent requests for a five-day a week three-yearold program. The program is offered Tuesday and Thursday and is taught
by Lauren Evans, one of our Early Childhood teachers. The Enrichment
Program is only offered to students that are currently enrolled in our
Monday, Wednesday, Friday Early Childhood Program.
Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for your child to receive
more hands-on learning experiences and exploration in a small group
setting. Topics for our enrichment course include cooking, science, art and
storytelling/drama through literacy. The program will only be accepting a
limited amount of applicants and will be accommodating families on a first
come, first serve basis.

Our enrichment program correlates with our Early Childhood Program in
terms of routine, philosophy and values and will be taught by Lauren Evans
(Early Childhood Teacher).

Is the Enrichment Program academic ?
How much does the
Enrichment Proigra m cost ?
The Enrichment Program will focus on the inner joys and creativity of young children, while
still providing ample opportunities for learning
experiences to occur naturally through discovery
and play. The Monday, Wednesday, Friday Early
Childhood Program already provides an outstanding foundation for early literacy, numeracy,
social development and music appreciation. The Enrichment Program is a
creative outlet for students and option for parents that would like their child’s
schedule to remain consistent five days a week throughout the school year.

Class size may vary between 7 to 13 students. The Enrichment
Program will only be accepting a limited amount of applicants
to keep the class size small allowing our students more
individual attention from the classroom teacher and
opportunities to participate in small group activities.
What are the
Enrichment Program topics ?
The four main units in the Enrichment
Program will be art, science, cooking and
drama through storytelling.
The program will still provide time for
free choice and outdoor recess
(weather permitting) on a daily basis.
This program is exclusive to our Avery Coonley Early
Childhood students. The cost for the Enrichment Program
is $2500.00 for the school year. Families must sign up for
the whole school year.
When does the Enrichment Program start ?
The Enrichment Program will start in mid-September.
