the best choice possible
In an ideal marketplace, the most desirable objects of value are presented to the largest group of passionate buyers,
including individuals, dealers and institutions. Heritage Auctions provides such a marketplace, with offices and
showrooms in Dallas, New York, Beverly Hills and Hong Kong, in addition to offices in San Francisco, Chicago, Paris,
Amsterdam and Geneva.
AUCTIONS
Since 1976, thousands of consignors have trusted Heritage with their objects of value across 40 categories. These
include coins, fine art, wine, vintage comics, currency, Americana, historical artifacts, animation art, entertainment
memorabilia, natural history, luxury real estate, jewelry, timepieces and more. Shepherded by a team of top
specialists, these lots are featured throughout Heritage’s floor and Internet auctions every year.
Numerous institutions and organizations recognize Heritage’s preeminent position in the market. Auction partners
have included the Smithsonian Institution, National Rifle Association, DC Comics, Internal Revenue Service, Library
of Congress, Playboy Enterprises, American Numismatic Association, San Diego Comic-Con, and the Texas State
Historical Association, among many others.

Delivering a dynamic marketplace
With more than 900,000 U.S. and international collectors registered to bid, Heritage’s reach is unmatched.
Our aggressive cross-marketing efforts and worldwide reach through extensive use of the Internet are unequaled.
Innovative web software such as Heritage Live™ allows bidders to participate in live floor auctions from the comfort
of their home or office.
Reflecting our commitment to pioneering the best possible outcomes for our clients, Heritage was recently named by
Robb Report as one of the 25 most innovative luxury brands, alongside Lamborghini, Cartier, Gagosian Gallery and
Heesen Yachts, among others. This success is built on our award-winning marketing efforts in print, direct mail and on
the Internet, all of which promote auctions weeks before live auctions begin. Heritage auctions are routinely covered
internationally by news organizations such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, USA
Today, Bloomberg, Reuters, CNN, NBC, Fox News, Art+Auction Magazine, Town & Country, and Variety.
These advantages make Heritage Auctions the world’s largest numismatic auctioneer and your best choice for
consigning and purchasing rare coins, currency and vintage collectibles.

s far as I’m concerned, the real superheroes are those great guys at Heritage. I really lucked
out when I met ‘em ‘cause they got me prices that exceeded my wildest expectations, plus it
was a real kick to work with them. I don’t want this to sound like a TV commercial, but so
help me Spidey, there’s no one I’d rather entrust with my collection.

We customize strategies and financial services
to meet your needs and those of your clients
While fine art and vintage collectibles can be sources of pleasure, mental stimulation and pride, they can also
be important assets of an estate or investment portfolio.

advisors, attorneys and bankers in completing formal appraisals for single pieces of tangible property, collections
and estates.
Formal appraisal fees for insurance, estate taxes or charitable donations, written in compliance with all IRS, USPAP

TRUSTS & ESTATES
Fiduciaries responsible for major estates can be assured of a proposal
that considers all fine art and collectible items in your client’s estate –
unlike some auction houses that sell less-expensive objects in bulk, or to
auctioneers catering primarily to dealers. With roughly 75 percent of all
lots purchased by retail collectors, Heritage places your client’s property
before an eager collecting audience willing to pay more than dealers.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
More than $190 million in assets and $55 million in equity and owner’s
capital allows Heritage to regularly finance acquisitions and provide
generous advances against consignments. Under some circumstances,
Heritage is willing to participate as a joint venture partner. Heritage and
its lending partner, First United Bank, provide numismatists with bank
loans for durations up to one year on their collections.

comics, comic art, illustration art, natural history, movie posters, and Civil War/militaria. The treasures offered by
Heritage are more than just auction lots — they are pieces of history. The rarities handled by Heritage Auctions
frequently receive worldwide coverage from numerous outlets across a variety of media. Strategic advertising
campaigns in the top industry publications, direct mailings to targeted collector bases, website video highlights,
award-winning auction catalogs and a professional public relations staff ensure maximum auction awareness.
