Introduction
Evaluation of Temperature Resistance Test, Resistance to oil, seawater and detergent test, Salt Spray
Test and Function Test performed to membrane and Hydrostatic Release Unit according to ISO 15734
on 07-08-09 May 2014. The findings are as follows:

Details of inspection activities carried out with respect to scope of work

Temperature Resistance Test, Resistance to oil, seawater and detergent test, Salt Spray Test and
Function Test were performed to membranes and Hydrostatic Release Unit by Metaltek Teknoloji
Kimyasal Ürünler LTD.ŞTİ. The test results were evaluated according to ISO 15734 and results were
found satisfactory. Detailed test results are shown below.

Six membranes (each 10 cm in diameter, the orange collared the membranes) were exposure to -30

C temperature in the test cabinet for 45 minutes. Test result was evaluated ISO 15734 and found
satisfactory. Test was performed by Metaltek Teknoloji Kimyasal Ürünler LTD.ŞTİ. Test Lab. Please

- 3 pieces HRU(Hydrostatic Release Unit) samples were exposure to salt spray test for 168 hours and
then temperature cycling test between +65 0C and -30 0C for 720 hours (15 cycles, 1 cycles=48 hours),
function of the HRU should be immediately checked at the end of the temperature cycling test. Test
result was evaluated ISO 15734 and found satisfactory. Test was performed by Metaltek Teknoloji
Kimyasal Ürünler LTD.ŞTİ. Test Lab. Please see picture below.
Test Procedure;
Step.1 : Salt spray test for 168 hours,
Step.2 : Temperature cycling test for 720 hours
at +65 0C for 8 hours
at ambient conditions for 16 hours
at -30 0C for 8 hours
at ambient conditions for 16 hours
48 hours = 1 cycle
Total test duration 720 hours (15 cycles)
Step.3: Function of HRU should be checked after the test.

Requirement
