as: parent(s) and any of their unmarried children 22 years of
age and under who are residing in the same household. Children under the age of 3 are free and do not need to be included
in your count for a family membership. Cousins, nieces/ nephews, grandparents, grandchildren, aunts/uncles, baby sitters,
etc. are not eligible for inclusion in a family membership. Individual memberships are available for persons 3-59 years of
age, and senior memberships are available for those 60 years of
age and over.
O!
RESIDENT ID CARDS
If you have a Resident ID Card and you do not use it at the pool
for either the membership function or to receive a discount on
daily admissions, than you do not need to get a new Resident ID
card until your current card expires. Current Resident ID Cards
with valid expiration dates will still be accepted at Armitage
Golf Course and the Yard Waste Facility.
If you have a Resident ID Card that is expired and you don’t
plan on using it for the swimming pool, you may stop by anytime and renew your residency status during regular business
hours.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURES FOR A
HAMPDEN POOL MEMBERSHIP
The Township's Pool Membership ID card, which includes a
photo of the member, will be used again in 2016. See below

on using it at the swimming pool for discounted daily admission,
you will need to wait until after March 15, 2016 to obtain a new
card in person at the Recreation Department during normal business hours.
After the application and payment is processed by the Recreation Department, the membership card will be valid for the
2016 pool season. When an individual presents his/her card at
the pool, membership status will be verified by use of a barcode and scanner system. As a reminder, cards will be reused
on an annual basis until the expiration date listed on the card.
It is not necessary to have all members of the family present at
the same time for photos to be processed by the Recreation
Department. Additional photo sessions have been established
for your convenience, please refer to the extended office hours
schedule.

additional recreation programs and bus trips. Please refer to
your upcoming Township Newsletters for updated programs

for Cumberland Valley School District. If the last day overlaps with a program, we will adjust our schedule.

NEW SOFTWARE ANOUNCEMENT
The software that the Recreation Department uses to register
individuals for programs, trips and memberships is getting a
major overhaul. Starting in March 2016, the Department will
unveil Active Net to the public. This exciting upgrade will
permit you to register and pay for programs, sign up for your
pool membership or apply to rent a facility all from the convenience of your computer, tablet or smart phone!
Since we will be starting with a fresh user database, all users
looking to take advantage of the online capabilities will need
to create a new account. Unlike our old system, once you have
your account set up, you will then be able to log on to your
online account with your email address and a password of your
choosing. (NOTE- If you’ve purchased a 2016 Pool Membership, your new account will be already be established, and you
will not need to create a new account)
The new system has many great benefits and is extremely easy
to use! Search for your favorite program by keyword, age, day,
time, location and more! You may even discover a new program or trip along the way! Camp parents will be able to
print out tax receipts! Purchase swim memberships online!
No longer will you have to fill out a paper application! Save
your pool membership card to your smart phone! No more
forgotten cards! Keep an eye on the Township and Recreation
Department Website for future updates! See page 26 for more
information on Pool Membership/Res ID cards.
