CORE VISA Credit Card Conversion

New Cards – You will be receiving a new VISA credit card in the mail around April 6th
and your new PIN a few days later.
•
Activation – Please call 800-411-6390 to activate your new card. Please continue to
use your existing card through April 13th.
•
Payments – Remittance address is now CORE Credit Union PO Box 1987
Statesboro, GA 30459. Please update your bill pay account with the above address.
Members currently making payments through the VISA website (eZcardinfo.com) will
need to stop these immediately. You will be able to transfer your VISA payment from
an existing CORE CU Account via our Online Branch at www.corecu.org.

Recurring Charges– If you have any recurring transactions charged to your current

Board of Directors Nominations
Troy Brown is the Chief Financial Officer for the Bulloch County Schools. He
received his BBA from Georgia Southern University in 1994. He is currently
the chairman of the Supervisory Committee and the Asset Liability
Management Committee. He is a member of the Georgia Society of CPA's,
the Gideons International, and Trinity Baptist Church in Nevils. His wife is a
kindergarten teacher and his two daughters attend Statesboro High
School. He has served on the CORE Board of Directors since 2003.
Joseph S. Ruhland is Associate Professor of Risk Management and Insurance at
Georgia Southern University. He received his BBA in Finance, Investment and
Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Ph.D. in Risk
Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia. His research areas
of interest include asymmetric information, political risk, corporate governance
and financial planning. Prior to returning to academics, Dr. Ruhland lived in Chicago, IL, working as an employee benefits consultant for Hewitt Associates, Aon
Consulting and in private practice. Dr. Ruhland and his family have lived in
Statesboro since 2006, relocating from Athens, GA.
Lenwood Roberts is the Horticulture Instructor at Smith State Prison. He received
his B.S Degree in Biology from Paine College, Augusta, GA. Master of Education
in Science Education from Georgia Southern University in 1982 and Education
Specialist (Post Masters) in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern
University in 1984. Mr. Roberts is a retired Deputy Superintendent for the Screven
County School System. He and his wife have three sons and have resided in
Statesboro since 1988. He is currently serving as Vice Chair of CORE Board of
Directors. He is a member of First McCanaan Baptist Church.
Final selections will be made by you, the membership, at the Annual Meeting on Thursday June 18,
2015. No other nominations will be accepted from the floor, however, if you wish to run, the procedure is as follows:

The member must submit his or her name to the Credit Union at least 30 days prior to the Annual
Meeting.
♦
The member must list who he or she is opposing.
♦
The member must have 2% of the membership’s signatures on a petition, which must be
submitted at the Annual Meeting.
