Training programmes are based on modern occupational risk
management principles that equip employees with the knowledge and
skills to reduce workplace incidents, create a healthier workplace and
identify and manage environmental impacts.

SAMTRAC allows for two re-writes
Should a learner fail SAMTRAC three consecutive times, NOSA
recommends that the learner gain more experience, where after the
learner will be allowed to re-register SAMTRAC
NOSA training programmes can be adapted to suit your needs, at
your own pace, in your own working environment. Trainers employed
by companies implementing the NOSA Integrated Five Star System are
licensed to present selected courses onsite, at your convenience.

If the client passed both the HIRA & SYSTEM TOOLS during the
NOSA is exclusively accredited to provide SAMTRAC, the world’s leading
course in occupational risk management in the workplace. SAMTRAC
is accredited by both the International Institute of Risk and Safety
Management (IIRSM) and the Institution of Occupational Safety and
Health (IOSH). As such, students who successfully complete SAMTRAC
and who have a suitable level of practical experience will be eligible to
apply for technician membership of IOSH (TechIOSH).
NOSA is also fully accredited with HWSETA to present SAQA-approved
skills programmes. Furthermore, NOSA is an ISO 9001 registered and
accredited provider of health and safety training.

NOSA Training Programmes provide the necessary knowledge and
skills to identify and manage health, safety and environmental (SHE)
risks and quality within the workplace
Communication and mathematical literacy at NQF Level 2 is a
prerequisite for all NOSA Training Courses
NOSA is fully accredited with the Health & Welfare SETA in terms of
decision No. HW592PA0600183
If the learner only passed HIRA, he/she will receive a HIRA
with the relevant Unit Standards
If the learner only passed the SYSTEM TOOLS, he/she will receive
the SYSTEM TOOLS
Thus, learners may not request to receive all three
for
attending INTRODUCTION TO SAMTRAC
Students may not rewrite two exams on one day
No cell phones allowed during examination
All re-writes should be booked within 90 days from results sms, even
if the next re-write date falls outside of the 90 days
Late applications should be accompanied with an explanatory letter
signed by the learner’s manager/superior and approved by the
NOSA Regional Manager
All re-writes are constructed as follows:
08h00 – 12h00 = Coaching Time
12h00 – 13h00 = Lunch Time
13h00 – 16h00 = Exam Time
