Villa Group Update
Club Director Update
Inspiring Future Leaders
The Villa Group’s “My Backpack Program” helps over 100
of the staff’s children get school supplies. This program
takes place during the summer and helps children get
supplies that they are not able to afford. This year each
child received a backpack filled with school supplies,
such as binders and pencils. These supplies provide the
youth with resources needed to succeed in the classroom
so that they can carry these skills with them for the rest
of their life.

Each unit type has very clear guidelines for room occupancies, which are set to ensure your safety, comfort
and the efficient management of the hotel. Your reservation agent can assist you in making sure your booked
unit type adequately accommodates the total number of
guests in your party. Here is the maximum occupancy
allowed for each room configuration:
The Villa Group’s “Seed Program” teaches the children of
our staff members about how to best grow seeds during
all times of the year. Participants learn how to create
sustainable food, stick with a task to see results, and to
be responsible. The seeds are symbolic of growth and perseverance; as the seeds grow the children learn that they
will also grow if they persevere in life

When you arrive at the resort, it’s important to us that
your room is ready. The last thing you want after a
long day of traveling is to arrive, and then, because of
confusion as to the size of your group, not have a room
available. Who wants to be stuck in the lobby waiting to
see if the hotel can accommodate you, when you could
be in your room with your shoes off, blending your first
batch of margaritas!?
We want you to start your vacation off the right way.
Therefore, we can’t stress enough how important it is to
be accurate with the number of guests in your group at
the time of reservation. Please be sure to call back if the
total number of guests changes, so we can adjust your
reservation if necessary, and make sure that the hotel is
holding the correct size unit for you. See you soon!
Both of these programs teach the youth life skills that
they can take with them into the workplace. The Villa
Group’s goal is to equip as many future leaders as
possible with traits and knowledge that will make them
successful citizens in our world. We believe in supporting
our future leaders and these programs are one of many
ways for us to do so.

Guests of all ages can spend their days in style, splashing around in the blue waters off the Caribbean while
discovering the underwater world right off shore. Spend
time gliding through the water on your own or join a
lesson in any water sport area, where the activities
staff will teach you the basic skills you’ll need.
Battle of
the Chefs
You will be dazzled by this gorgeous new restaurant venue!
Neptune is located above a new Sales office that has been
constructed on the lower level and has been transformed
into a fantastic new rooftop restaurant with even more
breathtaking panoramic views than ever before. Neptune
was designed by noted Guadalajara designer Marisol
Tafich as an elegant yet tranquil setting and includes a
bar area on the terrace for relaxing before or after dinner.
Neptune opened in June 2015 and has been delighting
guests with its charming food and décor.
The entire restaurant resembles the inside of a ship and is
surrounded by circular windows, views of the beach, and
blue and white décor so that you feel as if you are dining
aboard a ship. Come watch chef Stuart Roger prepare a
variety of dishes such as ceviche, organic chicken breast,
and oysters. Don’t forget to ask for the signature drink
that consists of Hypnotic liqueur and champagne, which
tastefully matches the ambience of this restaurant. Neptune is open daily for drinks at 5 pm and dinner at 6 pm.

La Casona
Renovations
La Casona is being refurbished so that we
can continue to enhance your vacation
experience. We are changing the floors,
carpets, and furniture as well as painting
and other details to provide you with the
ultimate ambience for dining. On the left
side of this article is what the restaurant
currently looks like.
The Cabo Resorts host a weekly competition called
“Battle of the Chefs” at restaurants in Villa del Arco or
Villa del Palmar Cabo. This battle is a friendly competition
between six different teams of resort chefs so that they
can receive feedback on culinary dishes and continue to
develop new recipes for all members and guests to enjoy.
The battles are open for all to watch and members will
judge the contest entries. Please ask your concierge for
more details as the weekly location and time may change.

Now, instead of checking in at the Front Desk at either Villa del Palmar Puerto
Vallarta or Flamingos, you will be greeted by a staff person and escorted to a
more comfortable location to check in. This new process is for members only.
From the moment you arrive, your week of relaxation begins.
When you pull up to the motor lobby, the bell-boys and/or Member´s Concierge
will greet you and walk you to the new check-in area. At Villa del Palmar Puerto
Vallarta, it is located on the left side of the entrance building and underneath
the Spa. At Villa del Palmar Flamingos, it is located just before the Palmita
Market, outside of the main lobby. These locations have several tables with
chairs where members can be seated and experience a more personal checkin. Additionally, the Front Desk and Member Concierge staff now use portable
tablets to check you in while you are comfortably sitting. Their tablets connect
to the Hotel and Reservation systems so in case they need to verify any account
or reservation information, they have the ability to do so right there while you
relax. The hours for this new check-in process are currently from 1 to 5 pm on
Saturdays only, as this is when the resorts experience the bulk of the check-ins.
Let us pamper you from the moment you arrive. We hope you enjoy this new
personal touch and that it will be a great start to a great vacation!

New Golf Course
Coming Soon to the
Islands of Loréto!
In addition to being recognized as Mexico’s Leading Beach
Resort, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loréto will be opening the
Danzante Golf Course on February 1, 2016! World-renowned golf
course designer Rees Jones boasts, “This will be one of the best
golf courses in the world!” This course is nestled between the
azure waters of the Sea of Cortez and the majestic Sierra de la
Gigante Mountains to provide you with an incredible golfing experience. We hope to welcome you to this beautiful new Golf Course
to experience these “world-class” amenities for yourself.

Eagle’s Wings Foundation Update
2015 Grants
Eagle’s Wings Foundation distributes funds to charities in the communities of Villa Group
Resorts. The Foundation helps thousands of people by supporting orphanages, assisted
living facilities, education and physical therapy, and more.

This past summer, Eagle’s Wings purchased a school bus, which was made possible by
combined donations from Villa Group and the government, so that the program may
expand to include roughly 400 public school children getting access to gymnastics.

to make this dream come true!
