Palas Jewellery > 2013
The Palas story goes back
to 1996 when my sister
Eran and I, both then in our
early 20’s, spotted a gap in
the retail market for unique
jewellery.
We were young, we were
excited, we had design
qualifications and some
business experience and
we took the plunge – our
perhaps naive fearlessness
and inherent self-belief the
driving forces. We designed
a small range of just
30 earring styles,
developed an off-shore
manufacturing base and
launched the collection at
our first Sydney trade show.
Palas Jewellery was born.
But we knew we needed to
learn to walk before we ran.
We needed to create the
Palas ‘brand’ as this would
set the tone and remain
a vital element of the
business and its success
and sustainability. So we
poured our early energies
into the design, marketing
and branding of our
collection before we were
ready to sell into stores.
Fast forward 10 years and
our hard work in those
early years was starting to
show. The brand spoke
of love and friendship,
the range was expanding
and being embraced by
our target market and we
were earning respect in the
competitive world of fashion
and accessory design.
In Eran, I had a dear sister,
a best friend and an ideal
business partner, whose
beautiful creative stamp
gave Palas its original
styling and was reflected in
all of our products.
When Eran passed
suddenly in 2007, I’d be
less than honest if I didn’t
confess that I seriously
contemplated walking
away, putting the Palas
Jewellery chapter behind
me. Thankfully, I found the
courage and the strength
to continue, knowing that
I owed it to Eran and her
memory to keep our shared
dream alive.
I have since reinvented
the collection, allowing my
spiritual influences to shine
through in the designs that
are filled with light and love
and feature positive words
of friendship, affection and
protection. The emotional
and personal nature of the
jewellery has become the
‘signature’ of the Palas
Jewellery brand, which
today comprises a portfolio
of some 2500 unique and
beautiful creations.
All are hand-crafted in
Indonesia, by traditional
Indonesian artisans drawing
on centuries of jewellery
making in solid sterling
silver, solid brass and
bronze.
The range is constantly
evolving and is available
through a network of more
than 600 jewellery, lifestyle
and fashion stores across
Australia, New Zealand,
Japan and the United
Kingdom. Mid-range price
points (RRP$26 - $44)
position Palas Jewellery as
the perfect ‘impulse buy’
that is not only good value
but also very beautiful in
quality and sentiment.

developed a brand that
reflects my own life
experiences and personal
growth – one that is full
of intergrity and sincerity
and touches the hearts of
so many people. That is a

coins have been hand

designs. Each coin
is an original white
metal world coin set in
solid brass and sterling
silver.
Each jewellery item will

Each letter is a little
‘treasure’ to wear as
your own initial or
favourite letter. The
band is sterling silver
(925) and can be
adjusted to suit a small
(7), medium (8) or large

Palas exhibits at
regular Australian trade
shows in Melbourne
and Sydney where we
launch gorgeous new
jewellery each show.
These shows are a
convenient way to order
as we have the entire
collection on display
and we would love to
meet with you.
Delivery time
Palas carries stock of
all designs to deliver
your order efficiently.
If in stock you will
receive your order
within 1 to 2 working
days. Should we sell
out of our most popular
designs we will place
those items on our
backorder system.
Freight
Freight and insurance
are additional charges.
Startrack air next day
delivery within Australia.
FedEx for all
international orders.
Duties and taxes will
also be payable on the
goods entering your
country, this must
be arranged by the
purchaser as duties
and taxes are not
handled by Palas for
export orders.
Payment terms
Customers are required
to pay all invoices
within 30 days from
the date of invoice.
A 5% discount will be
given if payment is
received within 7 days
from the date of invoice
(this does not apply to
pro-forma invoices).
Cancellation and
administration fees
will be applied to
cancelled orders or late
payments. Ownership
of all goods dispatched
belongs to Palas

paid for in full.

Claims
No claims or returns
will be recognised after
7 days of receiving the
goods. Any claims must
be sent to Palas with a

Guarantee
Palas guarantees
the quality and
workmanship of all
Palas jewellery and will
repair or replace any
items that may
have what Palas
considers to be a
manufacturing fault.
Returns will only be
considered for repair
or replacement within
a purchase period
deemed reasonable
by Palas. Mishandled/
damaged jewellery by
the retail store or final
purchaser is not the
responsibility of Palas.

Jewellery care
All designs are hand
crafted in sterling
silver (925) brass,
bronze and pewter
and these can tarnish
over time. For general
care use a Palas silver
polishing cloth to revive
your favourite Palas
pieces. Individuals’ skin
reacts differently to
metals and some who
have a highly acidic
skin may tarnish silver
more quickly than
others. Avoid cleaning
products, chlorine,
hairspray and perfume
as these can damage
sterling silver, brass,
bronze and pewter.

Rings are available in
3 sizes. Each is hand
crafted and the size
may vary slightly. Please
